Some are classifying this as a fruity floral or a summery fragrance, but this is a warm oriental on my skin—no melon, no raspberry, nothing floral-fruity about this. I purchased it blind based on reviews and I am so glad I did. The opening is a light burst of freshness—sweet from the vanilla and a bit of green, a hint of rose…it is powdery from the get go, thank you Iris. Milky, creamy, ambery…The iris reminds me of a few other high end fragrances I have, and I love that. This is a very sexy fragrance and I do see the similarities to the original Naomi Campbell. The sandalwood/amber/musk base is expertly blended and very smooth. I really enjoy this one. Now that it’s discontinued it’s a bit pricier than other celeb cheapies, but well worth it.
