Sadly, I’m not a fan. I expected an ethereal white floral laced with almond which I normally love but this is WAY too sweet, dare I say artificial smelling. I get a mix of sugared blossoms and plastic doll, the overall impression is very juvenile and I don’t get any of the usual Guerlain quality. Call me disappointed.

Beautiful, soft, romantic somewhat retro-smelling floral blend with the Guerlinade is what I get. It has the nebulousness of L’Heure Bleue with a different set of notes, just a sweet aura that floats around the wearer. I am writing of the Les Parisiennes reissue, which is parfum concentration. A moderate amount lasts all day and eve. This is a timeless perfume that could have existed a hundred years ago and I’m happy it exists today.
The bottle is charming, no doubt about it, but to use it with the sprayer is an invitation to disaster because there is nothing to secure the sprayer onto the bottle. It just “plugs” in and the bottle can easily fall off (which happened to me while testing in the Guerlain boutique). i use it with the stopper option and apply sparingly. But I’m not going to penalize the gorgeous perfume because of the risky packaging and with no hesitation give it five stars.

This review is for the 2012 re-released EDP in the Les Parisiennes line.
This perfume first comes across as extremely sweet with a hint of musk for sophistication. I love it because it’s not strong and you won’t overdo it. It has typical Guerlain characteristics, wearing off gently and entrancing you with note you just can’t seem to define.
My only gripes are the sky high price and short staying power. It seems the only thing others will be able to pick up is the top notes. The medium and bottom notes are very sheer.

Guerlain has taken the sweet food theme a little too far in making a cotton candy orange blossom. After sampling several other orange blossom fragrances, this is just pathetic. Perhaps it’s a 12 y/o’s introduction to orange blossom.
