I think this perfume is so pretty! It’s a fresh fruity, sweet coconut, warm jasmine scent that sparkles. It makes me think of the color hot pink. It’s fun, sweet, and very feminine. It’s a balmy scent that works perfectly in humid, hot weather.

I was excited to try this perfume for the French macaroon and coconut notes. It smells so sweet and delicious. It’s light, refreshing, simple, easy to wear. It lasts all day on me. I think the packaging and scent are adorable and fun! I would say its like a warm coconut cupcake scent.

I love Mariah’s butterfly bottles so much tried all 12 of them in the hope of finding a new love. I liked 2 of the 3 Lollipop Splash series, and this was not one of them. Ha! I really disagree with the review before calling this tropical and citrus based as its a strong sweet vanilla musk that overpowers the weak citrus. Perhaps she might have confused this for one of the other two Lollipop Splash perfumes which are tropical and citrus (Inseparable – Pink Bottle, and Never Forget You – Orange Bottle)??
This purple bottle one, Vision of Love, is cheap sugary lemonade, plastic jasmine and slightly powdery vanilla musk. Its sickly sweet, sneezy but if you wait a while it settles down to a very sweet macaroon cake-like vanilla musk that is nice for young people….not my age group I’m afraid so its not for me!
TOP NOTES: juicy mandarin, coconut and star neroli.
MID NOTES: French macaroon, purple jasmine and white peach.
BASE NOTES: sandalwood, vanilla infusion and creme de musk.

I refuse to be a fragrance snob. What I’m saying is I won’t judge a fragrance by it’s cover or who makes it. In the annals of perfumery, many famous women have worn fragrances that were not very expensive but were noteworthy for their provocative or sultry callings. Or chose a scent because it was just fun. Mariah Carey’s Lollipop Splash Vision Of Love is just that-fun.
For me, it tops of as a fruity, tropical, balmy, summery and fun scent that likes to play. It’s immediate blast is powerful and begins to dry down to a heartier oily type scent where the Neroli mixes with the jasmine and macaroon. The base notes of vanille, sandalwood and musk soon popped out and stayed for about four hours.
It’s a pleasant enough fragrance that’s not too sweet but more on the fruitier side, which for me, is it’s saving grace. Think beaches and pina coladas, the surf in the background, sand under your toes, the sun descending on the horizon and seagulls surfing the mist of the ocean.
Pretty little bottle that’s a pretty,deep pink with a butterfly on top. I’m happy with my purchase and glad I spent the money. Would I repurchase? Probably. It’s a happy scent in the world of decadent, sensual scents I own. It’s different from my regular perfumes. It stands different for me. It’s one I’ll reach for on a rainy day when I want to be reminded of the shore or when I need a pick-me-up.

Base Notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Vanille.
