I really like Pacifica perfumes. The branding is gorgeous and prices are reasonable. Sometimes the rollerballs need a little work to get the liquid flowing well, but that’s hit and miss. My favorites are the Indian Coconut Nectar for summer and Sugared Amber Dreams for winter.
The Malibu Lemon Blossom fragrance smells fresh and very feminine in the bottle. However, something gets changed in application, at least for me. After a few minutes, I am too aware of the perfume – it becomes very strong even with light application. The headiness gives me a headache and makes me sneeze. The scent transforms on skin to a heavy jasmine and soap blend that does not agree with me.
Everyone’s perfume experience varies, but I couldn’t keep using this one and won’t be buying again.

I love lemony perfumes.
I like the smell of this one. It doesn’t smell like pledge and has a certain nice sweetness about it.
What kills it? It has absolutely no staying power beyond 90 minutes tops!
So I wind up spritzing it on if I have a short meeting planned or if I have a day where I have the opportunity to reapply it.
So I am torn about this fragrance. It is a good short term, lemony scent but as with all fragrances, staying power can make it or break it.

I was in Ulta searching for alternatives to my usual high-end fragrances and came across this brand. Prior to this, I had never heard of Pacifica but am I so glad I found it!
I will start off by saying this scent, like many other scents, is not going to work for everyone. I admit, when I smelled it on me when I was testing it in Ulta I was extremely turned off. I thought it was way too strong for every day wear (I tend to use A LOT of perfume because I really like to smell good), but when I got home and it had faded a bit I had a change of thought.
This scent wore on me, and I definitely did not immediately go back to Ulta and purchase it. I though about it for about a week and I eventually went back and bought it. The packaging is very cute and the price is wonderful.
Give it a try! I think it’s a fun and very fresh scent.

When I decided I want to go cruelty free, I was shocked at the limitations on cologne and perfume. Loved higher end scents for many, many years.
Enter Pacifica. I don’t know if it is my mind set (resignation) or some kind of nostalgia, but I am loving Malibu Lemon and Mediterranean Fig. AND, I have had more compliments on these scents than for as long as I can remember wearing my former very high dollar favorites.
Not all the fragrances are going to work for me, but these two are really working for my keep it fresh, simple and cruelty free discipline!

I tested this out at Ulta today. I get obsessed with lemon scents in the summer. This stuff was on sale, so I spritzed some on my arm hoping it would work out. On first whiff, it did have a nice lemon scent. But, as I walked around the store it quickly transformed into a lemon cough drop scent. Like something that would numb your sore throat. Ick! Luckily, all of the fragrance disappeared in no time, so I didn’t have to spend the rests of my day smelling like a Hall’s.

I’m looking for a nice, fresh lemon scent, and thought I’d at least test this despite the mixed reviews. Although you can smell the lemon blossom when you first spray this, it fades almost immediately, and turns into a neroli/ white floral, 1970s men’s aftershave type of a scent (at least on me). Not a fan of this one at all. It really sticks too, I had a hard time washing it off. If you look at the notes, it makes sense why it smells this way, this is a floral scent. The notes are lemon blossom, litsea cubeba, angel’s trumpet, herbs, sea salt. I’d definitely test this at Ulta and let it dry down before buying.

I have the rollerball. I love this scent. I wish it stayed more lemon but I do like the floral scent once the sharpness of the lemon dies down. I usually wear a lot of gourmand scents lately so this was a more lazy casual day choice. I will definitely buy again. And probably buy a spray and have the rollerball for my purse.

Great price, great fragrance! It is lemony, but not so tart that I’d get a headache – the edge is taken off by other notes, or simply because it is lemon blossom rather than lemon, maybe? I have not smelled lemon blossom before in real life, so I can’t speak to that. But this is a bright, energizing, beautiful scent, I love it! No headaches from this at all. Staying power is as you’d expect from Pacifica – not the longest, but still a wonderful fragrance.

Initially this fragrance is everything that I wanted Fresh Lemon Sugar to be! It is sweet citrus, with none of the acidity that Lemon Sugar had, and fresh delicate florals which really linger long after the citrus has dissipated.
If this fragrance remained how it smells after about 15 minutes, I would absolutely adore it! It has a brightness and airy feel to it that just makes me happy to wear it. The initial burst of sweet lemon is soon tempered by the florals, and these are what remain on the skin. However, after an hour or so this turns into almost pure jasmine/gardenia. Jasmine gives me a headache and so makes this fragrance unwearable.
This fragrance is very light and not heavy at all, but the strong jasmine scent puts me off. I won’t repurchase.

I am sensitive to fragrances but do not have a problem with most of Pacifica’s scents. Malibu lemon is a delightful blend of sweet lemon, light floral and white sands. Think of a summer day with a light breeze at the beach. The fragrance is very long lasting on me. Whenever I wear it, my DH always says that I smell pretty. I like that the simple list of ingredients and that this is free of phthalates.
