Starts with mandarin and cloves, being very autumnal and sweet. Drydown develops the sandalwood and jasmine, with hints of a powdery rose. Finally I am left with all-day long warm and subtle wafts of powdery cloves with roses and sandalwood. This is uber-feminine and I think a very beautiful cold-weather fragrance. It has class and is not common. It’s one of those you wear to bed because it’s cozy and comforting. I have a large sample and will buy it when the sample runs out.

At the beginning, the lavender/oakmoss combination is far too strong and not quite appealing, but the fragrance quickly settles down into a complex, mysterious and alluring mixture of vanilla, amber, flowers and spices. There’s a prominent “clean mint” note that stands out in the middle of this mixture, and rather than be jarring, it actually acts as a carrying element that holds all the various components together quite well. Very sultry and beautiful and I could definitely see how this might work as a love potion of sorts…
