This is a lighter interpretation of La Nuit Tresor. The Caresse part indicates it is softer, and it is. It is sensual, but soft. There is still a sweetness to it, but it is much less sweet than the original. The tonka bean note gives it a more almond like scent. There is still vanilla. I think it’s a welcome addition to the line, as the EDP is quite strong. This is also an EDP, but a lot more wearable for day.
Top notes: raspberry, bergamot and lychee, spiced with notes of pink pepper that gives it a bit of freshness.
Heart notes: Damascus rose, jasmine and almond blossom.
Base notes: tonka bean, orchid, vanilla from Tahiti, patchouli and white musk.
