This is one of my favorite fragrances for men. It is definitely classic. Guys who like current fragrances from Dior or Chanel, or whichever house, may not like this. This is a scent for gentlemen. It came out in 1992 and wasn’t a huge seller, which just adds to the allure of it. This scent comes in two concentrations: EDT and EDP. Both are wonderful. The scent contains lemon and bergamot top notes meets an aromatic breeze of lavender. Then, the heart is enriched with fresh, spicy notes such as coriander and pink pepper. Finally, with the patchouli there emerges a rich, oriental woody dry-down.

This is a really underrated scent! Heritage came out in 1992, and it is a classy masculine scent all the way! It is surprisingly strong for an EDT. There is an EDP as well, where the notes are more rounded and a bit stronger, but there isn’t much of a difference! The exuberant freshness of lemon and bergamot top notes meets an aromatic breeze of lavender. Then, the heart is enriched with fresh, spicy notes such as coriander and pink pepper. Finally, with the patchouli there emerges a rich, oriental woody dry-down. It is a simple scent, but complex all at once – which you can’t say about a majority of new men’s fragrances these days.

Notes: bergamot, orange, aldehydes, green accords, lavender, lemon, petit grain, violet, clary sage, nutmeg; pepper, coriander, orris root, rose, jasmine, carnation, honeysuckle, geranium, lily-of-the-valley; cedar, vetiver, patchouli, amber, tonka bean, oakmoss, sandalwood and powdery vanilla.
This fragrance opens with a blast of spices framed by precious woods and flowers. As the notes develop on my skin pepper and vetiver dominate the head accord – with a dash of lavender to accentuate their astringent olfactory qualities. This particular aspect lends a welcome energetic, youthful edge to the composition. What I particularly like about this scent is that it is gentlemanly, that is to say mature and refined, but not at all stuffy. The heart accord is characterised by patchouli and cedar notes – smoothed by creamy sandalwood and powdery orris. Amber, tonka bean and oakmoss usher in the dry down of this excellent men’s fragrance. Lasts more than six hours on my skin.
