This is for the 2008 version of Gucci Pour Homme (unfortunately, Gucci has released several with similar names). I wanted to add a ladies perspective as I felt this one could be very wearable and unisex, and I wasn’t wrong. It opens a bit more ‘masculine’ but that warms up very quickly into a sweet floral tobacco scent that features some very interesting notes. I love the elemi in this (I don’t have many fragrances that feature that note, in fact). But on me, this is predominantly a tobacco/violet/amber fragrance and that’s what makes it so wearable for either gender. I’ve only had it on a couple of hours and the only other thing I can say is, it’s not a powerhouse. It’s quite softer than I expected, but still smells lovely. Definitely pleased with this purchase.
