I’ve received the original Green tea EDT many years ago and really enjoyed that.
Yuzu is what I had expected – more citrusy.
I like it that it is less floral than the original Green tea.
But I would appreciate more of the green-ness of green tea in this EDT.
This EDT was advertised to have the top notes of Yuzu zest, sheer Bergamot, sparkling Lemon, Green tea vapors, and Lemon tree Petitgrain. Yes, it did begin that way – citrusy.
The middle notes were Green tea leaves, Yuzu pulp accord, wild Thyme, Spearmint, Blackcurrant buds, Tunisian Neroli.
I did detect a mixture of the middle notes. It was a well-balanced mix of the above.
Finally, it ends off with the base notes of Musk, White Birch, Ambrette seed. Musk definitely came through although I would have loved the EDT better if it ended off in a greener manner.
I appreciate this EDT the way it is. I had been looking for something with a mix of citrus, green tea and neroli, and this one has it all.
I’m not giving this 5 lippies as the EDT is not long-lasting, and the I think the formulation could be enhanced further to give it that quality and sophisticated feel.

I like this fragrance-it’s very summery. Softer and fruitier than original Green Tea.

I feel ripped off, even at TJ Maxx.
I was looking for an everyday scent since I was down to my special occasion and weekend scents. I saw this for $9.99, and while I’ve never been interested in Elizabeth Arden Green Tea products, the idea of yuzu seemed appealing. I checked for reviews and found a few on a fragrance site that said it wasn’t bad, so I picked it up. It smells great at first…all lemony and citrusy. Then it disappears. Gone. Nothing. An hour later, I couldn’t even practically stick my wrist up my nose and smell it. I tried putting it on my clothes, given my body chemistry has broken down scents or changed them before. Gone.
I took a look for more reviews, and lo and behold, people were complaining about the same exact thing. It just evaporates away to nothingness. It came out earlier this year—no wonder it’s at TJ Maxx already.
There, I saved you ten bucks.
ETA: I put this in the guest bathroom. I figure someone might like it. I also sprayed it on the shower curtain to see if it worked as a room deodorizer. It lasted longer there than it did on me. Yay, a new use!

I actually stumbled upon this by accident while browsing through a Ross store one afternoon. I saw it was an Elizabeth Arden fragrance and it was a green/citrus scent so for $10 I purchased without testing. Boy am I glad I did! My bottle is almost gone, and I got online to purchase another and saw it was $25 for 1.7 ounces. Ouch.
I LOVE the scent, cut green grass on a southern summer afternoon, obviously there is a bitter tea note, but crisp clean lemon is the star of the fragrance. It’s not unisex, it’s feminine. Maybe a tiny hint of white floral and pepper. It’s not artificial, antiseptic or chemical. Not sweet at all. It’s a glass of lemonade on a hot summer afternoon in a garden. Feminine citrus and clean fragrances are very hard to find. I wish this came as an eu de parfum.
The glass bottle looks like the other fragrances in the Green Tea line. I’m not a fan of the cap, it looks cheap and bulky for how elegant and expensive Elizabeth Arden is. But it’s simple and sporty and the cute illustrations of sliced lemons on the bottle are great.
As for it’s endurance, most green and citrus fragrances don’t last long. Initially, it is powerful. It burns down pretty quickly, but can be smelt slightly on the clothes the day after. I take marks off for that, considering the price.
I didn’t know about the Green Tea line, but have already ordered the Green Tea- Mimosa spray along with another bottle of this and will try the others too.
