Really quite beautiful and special for a more mainstream designer fragrance. Not a fruit, sugar, sweet patchouli concoction by any means. A really well blended spicy, soapy (in a bubbly effervescent but not too sweet and not at all juvenile way) rose. A very warm exotic floral, but not overly woodsy in the base at all. Much more spicy than woodsy. Which I like both spicy and woodsy mixed with florals (especially roses) and with one another. But if you are someone who finds woodsy scents too heavy, too masculine, or just simply that they are not to your taste or don’t mix well with your body chemistry or whatever, but still want a non sweet and non grassy floral that is more than just a mix of flowers, this could be for you. Well done, Michael Kors. Gardenia is another floral component here,which adds some heat, sweetness, and balminess similar to the way Jasmine would, although less fresh and more sweet or Mimosa would while being softer and less highstrung and it is lovely also and also maybe some saffron or some kind of saffron-esque herbal spice to give it a lift and levity without making it too generic or risk it going to sweet, too fruity, or to flowery and insubstantial for it to lose its unique depth and exotic quality.
