When I first sprayed this, this reminded me something from the past. Sand and Sable. I used Sand and Sable way back in 9th/10th grade (roughly 1986-1987). Oh how I loved the scent back then, so this was a nice walk down memory lane, so to speak.
However, I do not think this is a ‘unique’ perfume, and I am pretty sure there are others that smell similar out there with a smaller price point. I would say if you like this but can’t really afford it, check to see if you can find Sand and Sable. I will say, this gives me a slight headache after about half an hour, whereas Sand and Sable never did. The bottle is a nice, plain simple design easy to spray, which my bad wrists appreciate. This is an enjoyable perfume, don’t get me wrong, even slight headache aside, I enjoy this.
But I just do not think it is worth the price tag (and yes I know there are many other fragrances out there much more pricey, but I am not reviewing any of those, I am reviewing this one at the moment), when there are similar fragrances out there. This does last pretty much all day on me, so points for that. And the dry down for me is pretty much the same as when first sprayed, so points for that, as well. Would I repurchase..? Doubtful. If I received this as a gift, I would be happy; but I would not repurchase. Too many other fragrances out there that I enjoy that are more unique or want to try, and more importantly, do not give me a headache, even though a mild one.. 😉 I love-love-love the original MK perfume and have used it for years, but this one is just very ‘meh’ for me and would not repurchase.

Yuck, when sprayed a very sweet mandarine smell develops and it dries down very warm and sweet.
I like the smell of fresh mandarines but not an artificial one on my skin.

I like this one! And I’m very picky so this is quite a compliment to the Michael Kors 24K Gold
perfume. There’s a white version and a rose version but I’m not overly impressed this those.
The Gold one smells of citrus, yet it also has a warm woodsy scent that makes it perfect for Fall and Winter. I purchased this and look forward to wearing it.
