I’ve got this parfume last year, I tried that once at a beauty store and loved the smell…and the cute packaging!!
So bought it as full size product and was rather disappointed after few days as this parfume doesn’t really goes well with my skin. The scent completely changes after few hours of wearing and it goes far to heavy and “woody”. So that’s shame, but don’t want to waste it as I really like the scent when it comes out of the bottle so I use it now as home airfreshener LOL
Definitelly won’t purchase again, doesn’t work for me 🙁

I find it interesting that no one is stating which formulation of this one they have: Satin Spray (75ml), Natural Spray (50ml) or Just a Drop (15ml). I think that makes a different in application, and possibly in how the scent will wear on the skin. I have the 15ml “Just a drop” formulation, which goes on as a thick liquid gel in drop form when you spray (as opposed to a spritz on the skin). I think this formulation gave me decent longevity (8 hours now, mostly a faint skinscent on me but still there, a bit).
That being said, I am disappointed in this one. I had hoped the almond note would show up on me in some way, shape, or form, but it made absolutely NO appearance. From first spritz to drydown, all I got was powdery violet (really heavy baby powder) and heavy white musk. There may have been a tiny whiff of rose, but it was very much overpowered by the baby powder and white musk on my skin. This is very sad indeed, as this one is getting harder to find and I had really hoped it would be a gem. All I can say is, it’s a lovely scent if you love powdery violet and musk. For me, it’s heading to the purge pile. Would not repurchase.

This perfume haunts me. I don’t love it, I get sick of it after a few wearings, but as soon as my sample is depleted I am back at Nordie’s filling another little plastic spritzer because I can’t be without it.
It’s almond-powdery-woody, and has a sharpish cedar twang that makes we want to cluck my tongue against the roof of my mouth. It smells like nothing in nature; the almond and the wood seem almost like anime cartoons of themselves. I find the first few seconds very, very similar to PotL Luctor et Emergo — but PotL evolves into a cherry incense, Flower Le Parfum hangs there like Sailor Moon’s freshly planed dressing table for hours. Addictive and tiresome in equal measures.

This is a familiar scent to me; not because I’ve tried it before but it reminds me being a child and the scent I’d be enveloped in when hugged by some beloved women in my life. Its the smell of cold cream and scented soap plus perfume and fragranced lipstick, combined. Clean and powdery, a haze of feminine scent. I don’t own this, have only sampled it but if it were not cost prohibitive I would buy it.

I always get compliments when I wear this perfume. Girls will always ask me what I’m wearing, and guys will comment on how nice I smell. It’s fail-proof because it’s not too overpowering, will never give you a headache, and is a crowd pleaser. If I’ve had a bad day, I like spraying some of this on my pillow and falling asleep to this scent. It’s heavenly.

I liked this fragrance when I got it as a sample. It’s very powdery* on me; I really don’t smell much of any kind of floral (and considering that the fragrance’s “inspiration flower”, the poppy, also has no scent, I guess that’s….appropriate?). It’s sweet without smelling like cotton candy, and it’s a nicely unobtrusive scent. If someone bought me a bottle, I’d wear it. However, I don’t think I’d pay $70 for a bottle that smells very much like your average baby powder from the drugstore. It lasted a few hours, and then faded away.
*Flame-worthy confession: I kinda think this is basically a classier version of Love’s Baby Soft.

I LOOOOVE this perfume! I must say though it has been a while since i have bought it because i do like to chop and change trying new smells etc!
However this is one of the very few perfumes i ever come back to! It has a gorgeous unique smell about it, and is one of the only perfumes i can actually smell on myself without spraying on masses of amounts! I reccomend anyone to try it!

Loooooove this perfume! It’s so soft and warm. Not overpowering but you definitely smell it. It’s most definitely a “signature” perfume. Very different and unexpected. My body changes fragrances usually to the point that most dissapear off my skin. This actually smells better and better the longer you leave it on. Love it!
UPDATE. By afternoon the perfume dissapears on me. A waste of $70 i’d say. I like the smell but it’s not lasting and too expensive. And definitely not enough product for the money.

I have had both Kenzo Flower (regular, in the sheer bottle w/ lovely poppy flower decoration) and this one, in the vibrant red bottle.
I lik them both, but Le Parfum (created in 2003) is rounder, deeper and more sophisticated than its predecessor (born in 2000).
Kenzo Flower Le Parfum is a powdery iris/violet/ vanilla/amber mix. So, cuddly, elegant, warm, soft…reminds me of my childhood.
You get this huge was of baby poder like (iris and violet). The base is a soft, almost gourmand vanilla musk accord, but the amber makes is so cozy and wintry.
Definetely a winter fragrance to me, evokes a soft warm blanket.
It’s easy to wear, does not need to much thinking or exotic occasions to be worn. A little treasure!

Notes as per Osmoz:
top notes May blossom, black currant
heart note Parma violet, Bulgarian rose, almond
base note Opopanax resin, white musk, French vanilla, amber

I received this sample from Sephora, and it was not at all what I was expecting. It is a total rip off of Oscar de la Renta. Oscar de la Renta was the first perfume that I ever purchased and it is l♥ve! This perfume smells almost identical, but it is overpowering and definitely not as good. I would not purchase this product.
