I too am obsessed with this candle. I wish I could bathe in it. The scent disperses fairly well around the room, and it is delicious but not too overpowering. It is delicate and fruity but not over-the-top sweet. This is the one candle that I always have around.

Ahhhhh…I love this candle and find this scent very evocative. I purchased it in the limited edition–green wax poured into a frosted green glass holder–which is beautiful. Like the Philosykos EDT, the candle has a warm, earthy fig scent with a dryness/woodiness to it, and touch of sweetness that smells like coconut. (I don’t get the floral scent mentioned by missm.) This scent makes me think of old books and furniture…I could not figure out why, until I read that the fig is blended with the scent of cedar. The candle is strongly-scented, both cold and burning. Expensive, but wonderful.

Not sure why they keep calling this a “fresh fragrance” in magazines and internet reviews, I think like missm that the scent is rich and warm, yet not heavy. I tried this as bulb burning oil (not the candle), and it works well. Here’s a tip: even though it is safe to burn with a 60w bulb, you will get a better scent with a 40w bulb.
