I bought the Eros pour femme in the EDT not the EDP. I read many reviews online and the EDT is fruitier and sweeter smelling than the perfume which is more musky. This scent opens with bright citrus scents and dried down to a lovely sweet fruity yet clean scent. I’ve read this described as smelling like pink lemonade or gummy bears. I agree with the gummy bear smell but there’s also s a fresh smell to it. I love this perfume. If you like Dolce & Gabana light blue then this is similar but much sweeter and it lasts a long time. I sprayed this at 3pm and still smelled it on me the next morning.

This is such a beautiful fragrance. So complex, fruity, musky, slightly citrusy. It’s a very luxurious, sensual scent. I just tried it today for the first time and I spent all day sniffing my wrists and inside my shirt (yes I am a weirdo). The drydown was lovely too – the deeper sweeter notes hung around, and it was so nice. All I have of this is a sample right now, but I think if someone ever wants to get me a present, I might need to tell them to get this. It is amazing.

Well what can I say that sillage already has not said..? Excellent review by the poster below me, sillage. I will add, my impressions of this is very light….VERY LIGHT. To me this is almost lighter than most body sprays I’ve ever tried. Having said that, I think this is office-safe and safe for crowds, gatherings, etc. I do think this is more of a daytime scent and perfect for professional settings where you do not want to smell like a lady of the evening nor bathed in an EDP. I do quite like the bottle, that is what really pulled me in. I love the classy, simple, yet classic-feeling of the design. Everything about this is no-nonsense, pretty basic (dare I say..generic..?), yet not overly simple, if that makes sense. If you are looking for an ultra-feminine fragrance, chances are this won’t be it. But if you want something light (yet still somehow lasts hours and hours for me), then this might be something you might want to test the next time you are at a fragrance counter.
For me, everything about this is pretty ‘meh,’ pretty average. I like this fragrance well enough (although I wish it was a little more pronounced and not so light), and I do like the bottle design, but this just does not ‘wow’ me enough nor stand out to me enough to purchase. But as a gift, it was a nice welcome fragrance to add to my perfume stash.

A fresh, clean, crisp lemony-floral-woody fragrance — airy & aquatic. Wearing it now, and I like it quite a lot, but since it lacks sweetness or a vanilla note, I find it a bit serious — sort of “upright” and no-nonsense.
The video ad was made on the beach, but to me it smells more like a professional businesslike scent. I picture suited-up lady lawyers & administrators who work in big city downtown highrise office buildings, carry briefcases, and walk at a brisk pace.
I actually like the men’s version better (a delicious gourmand-ish scent, which my son wears, loves, and gets a lot of compliments on). The men’s is in a completely different scent family from the women’s. It comes in a beautiful square teal bottle and is almost more feminine-smelling than the women’s version, strangely.
Eros Pour Femme is in the fresh-crisp-clean citrusy category — sparkling & sharp-ish — like a crisp white shirt. Slightly sweet, yet mostly dry — with some airy aquatic-ness about it also.
Don’t take this as “smell-alike”, they’re all distinctive, but I’d put Eros Pour Femme in same general fragrance family as J’adore, My Burberry, Burberry Body, Tory Burch, Gucci Premiere. Fresh, crisp-dry, a little prickly, not sweet.
EDP launched in 2014. Notes, per parfumo.net:
Top Notes — Sicilian lemon, Calabrian bergamot, Pomegranate
Heart Notes — Lemon blossom, Jasmine sambac absolute, Jasmine, Peony
Base Notes — Sandalwood, Ambrox, Musk, Woody notes
I’m mostly picking up lemony notes with a dry sandalwoody base. Overall scent to me is crisp citrus-wood — fresh, sparkling, rather like bubbly champagne. A little sweet after it dries down (the pomegranate?), but I’d put it mostly on the crisp dry lemon-wood side. No softness & not very feminine IMHO — to me, it stays quite woody & stern.
I received the big 3.4oz *gorgeous* gold bottle for Mother’s Day, By the way, you can’t tell it from the photos, but the back and sides of the beautiful shiny gold bottle are *clear*, so you can easily see how much you have left.
ADDENDUM 5/25/16: You know how some perfumes aren’t really *you* — you don’t love them, yet you still crave them sometimes? Eros Pour Femme is like that for me. It provides a cleansing break from my usual sweet & sometimes cloying orientals & gourmands. A departure, Eros is sometimes exactly what I want — and I’m glad I have it.
