I own Tom Ford Jasmine Rouge in 1.7oz size bottle and then This little summer gem. Jasmine Rouge is more of my winter fall scent while the Eau de Soleil Blanc is my fresh watery coconut summer spring daytime scent.
I also bought the original Private Blend Soleil Blanc EDP 10 ml atomizer to carry with me for “touch ups” i probably should have bought the EDT for touch up and EDP for at home. But, for me personally i love going overboard with spraying perfume. I hated how careful i had to be with my Jasmine Rouge so i really appreciate how i cant overdo the Eau de Soleil Blanc EDT. Its lighter, more citrus and “daytime” scent. The EDP Private Blend Soleil Blanc is creamier, more fem floral, more powdery and more appropriate for nighttime imo. Plus i rather spend 125 on the EDT than 235 on the EDP for the same size. I also much prefer carrying the Soleil Blanc EDP in my purse for when i want to spice up my already fading Eau.
Initial spritz the Eau smells of citrus, orange blossom and just freshness. Its crisp and have that Neroli Portifino touch to it. This is def more unisex and cologney than the Private Blend Soleil Blanc EDP. I can see more men gravitating towards the Eau. Its friendlier and easier to wear on a day to day basis. The dry down is delicious coconut water. Its soft and delicately sweet. Nothing overpowering and def not sickening. Some say this smells like suntan lotion and coppertone sunscreen. I personally LOVE that smell. For some reason ive always liked the smell of suntan products and i guess this explains why i am so drawn to this collection. Comparing this to MM Replica Beach Walk, i much prefer TF. Beach Walk had a soapy weird dry down that i did not like. The dry down on SB is incredible and so yummy.
Longevity as you guessed it is lacking. This is a EDT so it dissapears in about 3 to 4 hours. Sillage and projection are completely gone. I feel its way too expensive for something that doesnt last. I wont be repurchasing.
