This perfume smells EXACTLY like a snow cone on me. It has more notes and depth when smelled from the bottle and I can detect marshmallow and mint/spearmint from it–but that quickly disappears after I apply it. From the bottle, it has that very generic scent I have smelled in other perfumes. Not unique at all. It does smell delicious, but I wanted more from it. I wanted a slightly more complex scent. I wanted a ladies’ perfume, not a snow cone. Being such a simple, overly sweet scent, and given the price; I would not purchase this. I would get a sample and just wear it for fun on occasion during the day. This could be a very pricey girls fragrance if it remains as simple on them as well, lol.

Nice for the fall. It detect a berry and cream note on my skin. I got a sample while shopping at Sephora and might have to get a bigger bottle. Lasts pretty good too although it is a bit pricey to get right now for me. I think there is a roller ball for this particular scent but not positive.

Pour Femme Intense is everything I wanted the 2012 Pour Femme to be. It still has the marshmallow, red vines licorice sweetness but it also has fresh floral notes to give it more balance. If I had to use two words to describe Intense it would unique and sexy. Dolce and Gabbana took a risk with the Pour Femme 2012 and Intense 2013 as they smell nothing like anything any other designers have on the market. I would expect the level of creativity and uniqueness exemplified from this fragrance from a niche line, not a designer, so I’m very impressed. The marshmallow licorice accord is really genius and truly beautiful. If you enjoy gourmand and floriental fragrances and want to smell different than the crowd, you should really give Intense a try. Projection is strong and longevity is moderate to long. It’s a fragrance I’d wear on date nights as well as nights out to parties/clubs, etc. You’ll get noticed for all the right reasons. Intense is very tastefully done. I highly recommend.

I really like this fragrance. It is subtle and warm and it makes me feel good when I wear it. I love all the layers of it. It is quite long lasting on me too, although I wish they made a rollerball for late night touch ups. The only downside for me is the price, but it’s worth it to me.

I got some samples from one of my lovely students girls :)..At first I thought it would be that dreadful orientals which aren’t my cup of tea at all ..Till I decided to test one of them on my wrist , what an elegant beauty , very classy , not nauseating and dries to a mysterious feminine powdery note …It reminded me of an Upper -Class Saudi girl I once saw in an airport when I was a little girl , she was so elegant in her silk blouse , dark skirt and beautifully – yet simply – coiffed hair ..She had the same smell .Those who fear the raspberries and marshmallow , I fear them too , but this one is very different …I may accept this as a gift , but this high price won’t make me think of buying it ..Lastly , the name is so wrong this not intense at all; it’s intoxicating but not crystal clear either .

Simply put, I do not want to smell like “raspberries and marshmallows” which is the way the sales lady described it to me. I sampled it. Not for me.

What an intoxicating brew Dolce & Gabbana Intense is! This is a potion to be worn in the dark hours by sultry women who know what they possess. Not what they want, because this is a confident perfume for women who own, who control, who have confidence. It is strong. It is aggressive. It leaves an impression. It wraps around you in a luscious mist.
Green mandarin infused with tuberose ,(the movie-house style buttery popcorn blend tuberose, my favorite blend), mixes heavily in Intense to deliver a potent perfume that delivers continually. There are heavy woods that wraps themselves around this entire mix and then a generous dousing of powder settles in. This is a succulent perfume that embodies fullness, ripeness and maturity. A smidge of smokiness wafts in courtesy of the mystical note of marshmallow and delivers an almost campfire effect.
Is it “Intense”? Perhaps. Memorable, at the least. Bodacious, yes. It’s absolutely delicious.
I envisioned a hot-blooded horse trailing through a darkened forest, saddle-less, mists about the tree trunks, lichen and mosses thick abounding. The person that owns this magnificent beast is standing ahead, gazing into the thickets, listening to the overhead cacophony of the forest. The air is cold, thick and heavy with the morning dew as she waits and stands with the creature.
This perfume lasts an incredible time and radiates beautifully. It will create an impression. A small, small amount is needed to allow others to share what you are wearing. A drop on the top of your wrist, the curvature of your neck will do.
I had shopped, chosen a scarf and was walking around the department store before I paid for it. I had draped the scarf around my neck. When I finally went to pay for my purchases, the young woman commented on the scarf. “I love the feel of it,” she said. “And it smells so good.” I looked at her with chagrin, then smiled. “That would be my perfume,” I said. “The scarf isn’t scented.” “Oh,” she said. “Then your perfume is lovely!” (I had put a few drops on my right wrist a few hours earlier.) That’s Dolce & Gabbana pour Femme Intense.
As an aside, it does remind me of Hypnotic Poison in scent, longevity and in radiance.
Top Notes: Green Mandarin, Neroli.
Middle Notes: Tuberose, Orange Blossom.
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Marshmallow.

I absolutely loved this new fragrance at first whiff on my skin, enough to pay $85 for it. After dry down though, on me, it smelled just like a Kat VonD. perfume that’s been out for a while that’s half the price so I wont’ repurchase.

I LOVE this perfume.
It is my new favorite scent. On my skin it blends and melds beautiful. I love the richness and fullness it brings out in my skin. I would highly recommend trying this perfume. As I receive compliments everywhere I go.
The dark velvet box is exquisite.
It’s a def try!

Dead ringer for Hypnotic Poison and older red perfumes such as Hugo Boss Deep Red and Valentino V. Therefore, unnecessarily expensive as well.
