Bath & Body Works was a great place to shop in the 90s/ early 2000s. Not sure what happened, but in recent years they’ve made their scents “layered”, and it seems like everything has a cheap floral/ musk dry down. The fragrances have about as much quality as Air Wick or Glade. I do love a nice, fresh lime scent and wouldn’t have minded that, but this just smells like cheap air freshener with nasty floral/ coconut coming though. Yuck 🙁

I picked this up in travel size the first time I ever went into a bath and bodyworks. The smell for me is just too lime-smelling to enjoy. It smells almost sour when I spray it and hardly any coconut comes though. I think I will give this away to a friend because I don’t want to force myself to use it.

I own and love the body lotion for this, but the body splash was just lackluster. Smells great, but when I spray it, no matter how many times, I can barely smell it. It’s much too subtle, and when I spray on enough, it wears off within an hour. Sad that such a great scent is so weak. Won’t be repurchasing.

I bought this spray befire school started. I am not a big fan of sprays or mists, but I was willing to try something new for school. I deciede to buy this one. At ifrst I was like “Yay! It smells deightful yknow like summery and calming.” But then I’d smell it again, and it’d smell like a musty kind, manly kind of smell. I don’t know, but I still have it. I wear it now and then but I’m not a big fan of it. Sorry.

One of my recent favorite body splashes for summer. I love the smell of coconut for summertime. The scent doesn’t last very long, I will admit, but it lasts pretty well when sprayed on clothes. I don’t think I would repurchase because it doesn’t last very long, and I think there are better scents out there for summer.

This is going to sound weird, but this smells exactly like Florida. I used to go down there a lot when I was younger. My family would go pretty much every year. Now that I’m older, we’ve stopped going so much, and I really miss it. This is a body splash that makes me smile whenever I spray it. It’s a very limey coconut (as the name says), but I can’t smell the coconut as much. Seriously, this smells exactly like Florida. I don’t even know how they did it, but I’ll being buying these things over and over. Should they ever be discontinued, I’ll cry.

I actually like Coconut Lime Breeze Body Lotion from Bath & Body Works; its scent is descried as a tropical breeze of coconut water & lime blossom. I wasn’t sure if I’d like this one out of fear that it wouldn’t smell like a piña colada. I like this scent because it doesn’t smell like anything artificial, but I smell a lot more lime than coconut. The cream, coconut scent is what lingers when the lotion dies down. This makes for a great spring or summertime scent that I like putting on after a shower or bath. The lotion itself is lime green in color & it’s too thick. It absorbs quickly & the moisture lasts a whole day/24 hrs. The scent is long-lasting too & I can smell it the next day.
Top Notes: Sparkling Tangerine, Lemon Italy Orpur, Neroli, Bergamot Italia Orpur, Zesty Lime Juice
Mid Notes: Watery Melon notes, Sheer Muget, Pineapple Juice, Jasmine Petals, Lime Blossom

I really like this scent! To me it smells VERY similar to Coconut Lime Verbana, but a bit more citrusy. It moisturizes well and the scent doesn’t clash with my perfume. I’d definitely repurchase!

After BBW discontinued Coconut Lime Verbena, I tried Coconut Lime Breeze. At least the lime was there, if not the lovely lemon verbena. In lotion form, I think I may prefer CLB a tiny bit over CLV, but it is a very close call. Breeze has the advantage of knocking you in the head with citrus, and I love citrus cents. Straight out of the bottle, the lotion smells like lime candy. After a few minutes of lingering on my skin, I can smell limy coconut vanilla, which reminds me of summer, lazing in the tropics, and exotic desserts, very much a citrus gourmand fragrance. Using either coupons or looking out for sales, I have already bought two full large bottles of lotion plus several travel sizes that function as hand lotion when I am on the go. Lasting power is decent for a lotion; moisturization is good for my slightly oily skin. I like to layer with D&G Light Blue, so I can personify a vacation anywhere I go! Notes: (top) sparkling Tangerine, Lemon Italy Orpur, Neroli, Bergamot Italia Orpur, Zesty Lime Juice; (middle) watery Melon notes, Sheer Muget, Pineapple Juice, Jasmine Petals, Lime Blossom; (base) sheer Coconut Water, Sandalwood, Musk, Madagascar Vanilla.

Smells just like it’s described. Generally an amazing lotion that has a great scent. The scent lingers through the day also, something that I’ve had problems with with other bbw lotions. However, you have to apply quite a bit for it to be as moisturizing as it claims.

Bath&BodyWorks Coconut Lime Breeze body lotions s supposed to smell like a “tropical breeze of exotic fruits and luscious citrus”, i.e coconut water, lime blossom, and bergamot. Bath&BodyWorks lotions feature jojoba oil, shea butter, and vitamin E. The formula is supposed to be non-greasy and fast absorbing, the perfect daily moisturizer, in the brand’s opinion. Bath&BodyWorks products are cruelty free and made in the USA. I purchased my bottle in store for $3.33 on a 3/$10 deal. You can purchase a 3fl oz travel size bottle individually for $5, or a full sized 8fl oz bottle for $11.
Packaging is a translucent, bright green, plastic, recyclable bottle with a green pop-up cap. The bottle is the same curvy shape as all Bath&BodyWorks signature products. The label has some really pretty imagery. The background appears to be a sunset at a beach, with a palm tree in the foreground. The palm leaves are slightly overshadowed by the name of the lotion, which is written in dark green lettering.
Coconut Lime Breeze was introduced into the Signature Collection to replace Coconut Lime Verbena, which was discontinued, but I believe is still available online. I’m not familiar with Coconut Lime Verbena, so I can’t really compare the two scents for you, but I can tell you about this one. Coconut water, lime blossom, and bergamot describe the scent fairly well. Straight out of the bottle, this scent is all coconut, but it somehow it completely transforms when it’s applied on the skin. Once it’s applied, it’s all lime, a blend of citrusy lime and sweet, candied lime, with a tiny little bit of a bitter bergamot note. It’s a bright scent that’s a little tart, and it just screams “summer!”.
From the reviews I’ve read on Bath&BodyWorks’ website, not many people are fans of Coconut Lime Breeze, but I don’t understand why. It’s very pleasant and cool, not too strong or too light. It’s tropical without being overly fruity, and it isn’t floral at all. It has a little bit of dimension too it, thanks to the slight bitter element, brought on by the bergamot, but it’s also not too complex of a scent. It’s the kind of scent anyone can wear, but only at a certain time of the year. Coconut Lime Breeze is definitely best reserved for the warmer months. A combo I’d like to mention; layer this over I Love’s Lemon&Lime shower gel. It makes you smell like lime candy. n_n
The lotion it’s self is Bath&BodyWorks standard, except for a small, barely noticeable detail that doesn’t really matter but I’ll mention anyway. Instead of being white, the lotion appears to be a very light yellow-green. Apart from that, it’s your average Bath&BodyWorks lotion. A thin, non greasy lotion that sinks in pretty quickly. This lotion is light on the skin and moisturizes adequately. The scent stays close to the skin for a couple hours, longer if you layer it with other lime scents.
I recommend Coconut Lime Breeze if you want a soft citrus scent with a tropical twist. It’s much more subtle than most Bath&BodyWorks scents, therefore more wearable for a bigger demographic. The imagery is gorgeous and suits the scent to a tee. I likely won’t be repurchasing, but I do really like this scent. It may not be good enough for Coconut Lime Verbena fans, but it’s good enough for me.

Bath&BodyWorks Coconut Lime Breeze is a “fresh blend of coconut water, lime blossom, and bergamot inspired by tropical breeze of exotic fruits and luscious citrus”. Bath&BodyWorks claims that their reformulated Fine Fragrance Mist give a “delicate mist and improved coverage control”. The reformulation offers a higher concentration of fragrance and less alcohol. Bath&BodyWorks also claims that the formula contains aloe to “help condition and nourish the skin”, a claim that I think is silly and gimmicky because you’d have to use a whole lot of body spray to to get any benefits from the aloe. Bath&BodyWorks is a cruelty free brand, they’ve even won an award from PETA (up to you if that’s negative or positive). All Bath&BodyWorks products are made in the USA. I bought this travel size body spray on a 3/$10 deal for $3.34. Individually this mini fragrance mist costs $6, the full 8fl oz bottle sells for $14.
The clear plastic bottle is recyclable. The front features a shiny dark green palm tree. The name of the scent is written in silver capital letters. The back of the bottle is plain, aside from a small light green palm tree. An ingredient list can be found on the bottom of the bottle on a pull off sticker tab. Bath&BodyWorks has a lot to say about their “Fine Fragrance Pump”, but personally I can’t tell any difference between it and any other spritzer on any other body spray.

In Fine Fragrance Mist form, Coconut Lime Breeze is zesty, tart, and a little sharp, but still sweet. Just like the lotion, the fragrance mist is almost all lime, with just hints of coconut, vanilla, and a little bit of melon with a slight edge of bitter bergamot. Coconut Lime Breeze is very summery without being too tropical or fruity. Coconut Lime Breeze is fairly subtle, the kind of scent that’s easy to wear on a very hot summer day or a late spring afternoon. It’s a light scent, breezy is a good way to describe it.
As with all the reformulated body sprays, Coconut Lime Breeze suffers from poor wear time. Because this scent is already fairly light length of wear is even further diminished, I think I get less than an hour of wear. No matter how many spritzes I use it still fades super fast. Am I the only thinks that the reformulation isn’t a good thing?
Coconut Lime Breeze is one of my all time favorites from Bath&BodyWorks. It’s juicy, zest, and perfect for summer. I’m going through this body spray pretty quickly. The price is fair for the travel size, especially if you can get it on a deal. I’ll definitely repurchase the Coconut Lime Breeze Fine Fragrance Mist, I just wish it had better lasting power. Check it out next time you pop into their store, I think this scent is underrated, I hope I can spread the word about it’s wonderfulness!

Oh, BBW, I am so sad that you discontinued coconut lime verbena. This scent was supposed to be a replacement for it and it’s just not the same. It has too much of a lime overtone and very little coconut, as opposed to CLV which was a better balance and I liked it much more. CLB isn’t a bad fragrance on its own, but the lasting power is pretty much nonexistant. Also, I got one of the travel-size ones (because I am annoyed that they raised the price of the fragrance mists to $14 so it doesn’t qualify for some of the freebies anymore and didn’t want to pay that much) and the top wasn’t screwed on all the way and a bit of it leaked so now my bag smells like limes. Once I screwed it back on it was fine and didn’t leak anymore but that’s something to watch out for. Overall it’s not horrible but BBW has many more fragrances that I like more than this, so I probably wouldn’t buy again.

Sigh. I bought this because of the lime. Last summer I was under lots of stress and needed a morning booster so I bought this as a shower gel at BBW – I believe this was being introduced as a new scent in their signature collection here in Canada. The top note is the energetic, overwhelming, bubbly, sweet lime and that’s what got me hooked. The lime was all I could smell in the shower and that was great. Lasting power was non-existent however, so I decided to try it in a body splash and lotion. Disappointment. The lime disappears very quickly, and coconut never even shows up. All I’m left with is a fairly unpleasant musky sweet scent I can’t quite get my finger on. I had to scrub it off myself 🙁
I’ll probably still use it in the summer sparingly as a home fragrance but it’s annoying on my skin.
