Don’t judge this one by the first few minutes. At first its a bit plasticy and cheap, like Coconut shampoo, but be patient. After 30 minutes hour the fragrance develops into a warm and delicious vanillla skin scent. Creamy milky rich sweet vanilla, with just a little hint of coconut and tropical florals to round it out. It reminds me of the handmade soaps and coconut-oil based perfume oils you find in Rangotonga in the Pacific Islands…very authentic coconut, vanilla, and a tropical flower that might be frangapani flowers?
Anyway, its very tropical but here are no hints of citrus or fruits to my nose. This is a mellow and relaxing almost food but better scent in the way I just described. If you missed out on Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess like I did (I got a sample from a store just before closing and went back the next day to purchase and found they had sold out – all 5 bottles!) this is very comparable. In fact, I couldn’t decide and will stick to The Body Shop on account of it being so reasonably priced and the bottle is cute and portable.
