This has been one of my signature scents for so many years, I have lost count. Yes, I know saying one of my signature scents sort of defeats the purpose behind a signature scent, but I do have many perfumes that I consider to be a signature scent, mostly because I am older now. Coco has been around for a long time and it has always smelled rich and inviting. I find the cooler months of the year really bring out all the notes best. Classic Chanel at it’s best

Such a classic! Oriental, musky, provocative fragrance that lasts for hours.
At first it’s a bit too much, too spicy- but after a few minutes it envelopes you and becomes warm, cozy, and elegant. Absolutely perfect for winter.
A scent for classy, sophisticated, mature ladies. A scent that is on a “heavy” side, so it may not be everyone’s favorite, like Coco Mademoiselle- but it’s gorgeous nonetheless.
Suggestion: If you like it you’ll enjoy Miss Dior Le Parfum. Both have a strong amber note. In Coco, it’s paired with cloves and sandalwood. This trio avoids being too sharp because it is nicely balanced by peach and orange blossom.
I guess I’m grown up enough to appreciate it. A few years ago I used to love sweet scents, and perceived Coco as a typical “old lady” fragrance- not anymore!
If you’re looking for a winter scent that is oriental, and warm, almost spicy- look no further.

My signature scent in the winter.. longevity is significantly less than the ones made back in the days.. nice mature scent that is quite heavy.

I’m so surprised that this is not in the directory?!? I adore Coco since it came out in the 80’s my mom used to wear it and I loved it! Now at 39 I said why not get a bottle of my own. To me it smells so divine! I love the opening its spicy and floral. I really like how the clove is used in this its sweet and spicy and not masculine at all. I think that’s because of the rose and jasmine. The orange makes it refreshing, but the peach I don’t smell at all.
The middle note is mainly the clove if you ask me. There is also mimosa which I cannot detect. To me the best part of this scent is the dry down! For me its what a woman should smell like because to me this smells amazing! Its an amber, vanilla, with labdnum which i just love. The sandal wood gives it a powdery vibe but mixed with the floral and spice my goodness is it so lovely. It’s addicting I always sniff my wrists.
I have received many compliments from many different age groups when I wear this. Sillage is strong as is longevity. I do find the older version or original lasts longer but the newer version is comparable indeed. You do not need much with Coco and I love it at night and in cooler weather. This floral, musky, powdery, spicy goodness is timeless IMO. This fragrance to me just embodies what a woman should smell like as I said before. Its so mysterious, seductive, and addicting.
I really recommend giving this scent a sniff. To me it’s one of the best 80’s fragrances and can still be current today. I do recommend the 80-90’s versions as they smell so good and are stronger! The parfum is amazing both current and vintage. Coco is such a great perfume, I just love it!
