AQUOLINA!!! Why did you make the HUGE mistake of discontinuing this GEM? I’m not even a FAN of Pink Sugar really..but THIS was perfection!! My goodness, this could at LEAST be released once a year at Christmas or something! MUCH better than the Expensive Montale Chocolate Greedy ( I own) ~ This is one of THE best Chocolate compositions that I have ever smelled & I have over 15 in my collection. CaNNOT believe they would let this go over the Sugar~ Whatever..let me go run the show over there…someone messed up. THIS is HOLY GRAIL!!

…just bought third bottle of this stuff which is amazing, since in my history of collecting perfumes I just bought 3 more perfumes more than 2 times (either cause I hit the pan of it or just cause I was indecidable whether to keep it or not…)
Chocolovers is my No1 non niche ”niche” perfume…why?well, because it is perfectly balanced, perfectly composed, with perfect longievity and perfect sillage…in other words-this humble little perfume in a cheerfull girlie bottle (assumed to be another frufru smell) turned out to be a fantastic perfume…
it smells like an european cake calle Jaffa cake-dark chocolate with vanilla and oranges…it stays sweet and spicy, progressing towards gourmand bur never, ever in a vulgar or cloying way…
I’ve searched for it on ebay and found that they have astronomical prices, and here in Europe it has been discontinued…BUT my new bottle was purchased for nearly 25 euros(1.7 oz for cca.20 S.),which is a true bargain….so if you like sophisticated fragrances that go gourmand but withoud a fully foody character, chocolate (forget Chocolate Greedy,Amour de Cacao,Horowitz’s chocolate……)more like Nutella with orange pulp-don’t miss this wonderful creation…I’ve always stated-”no French could make a perfume like Italians can….”….so bow to the Chocolovers and Pink Sugar for utter originality, quality and uniqueness….(I’ve tried other offerings from Aquolina and none of them came even as close to these 2…)
best chocolate ever!!

Definitely too much orange for me. It is important to note that Chocolovers is much more of a hazlenut scent as others have established. Not much actual chocolate to be found here. After it has settled, this fragrance does have a sweet, Nutella-esque quality, but the opening has way too much citrus for me. In fact, this is mostly a nutty orange scent on my skin. I would like Chocolovers if it did not have this odd waxy quality to it that is reminiscent of Yankee Candles or off-brand Easter candy. I do enjoy the dry dark cocoa scent of Angel Taste of Fragrance, but I definitely have yet to find a true chocolate beauty.

I swapped for this a long time ago, tucked it in my closet, and forgot I even had it.
Pulled it out today & can’t believe I let it sit all of this time…
Yummmmmmm!!!!
The top note of chocolate wears off quickly, and then you are left with a sweet vanilla-y caramel something-I-want-to-eat scent.

I looove this scent! It is just like what everyone says.. a nutella EDT LOL Its soo yummy and I wish I could still find it… why is it that all the good scents get discontinued?? Hopefully i can find some more of this but for now I will enjoy what I have =)

Well, ya can’t find this anywhere I know of outside of ebay…but if you get the chance to grab it, do so! It’s cheap and yummy. It smells kind of like Nutella (aka, heaven!) to me. Strangers have told me it smells like sugared chestnuts or like churros.

This smells exactly like a chocolate orange ball. The sweetness of the chocolate is cut with the tartness of orange.

alright everyone, so i LOVE candy scents. Anything sweet is perfectly fine with me 🙂 So you can only imagine that this scent so chocolately and hazelnutty is on my NICE list :p. Chocolovers is like what Nutella would smell like it were a perfume. Chocolovers proved to be long lasting on me and I really enjoy it. It starts off very hazelnut and vanillaish and mellows out into a warm candy-chocolate scent. Very lovely. Very youthful. Very warm and sweet . I love this scent. My favorite perfume of all time is another perfume by Aquolina, “Pink Sugar” takes the cake for me. So just letting you know where I stand with candy scents. the sweeter the better. This may smell different on you since every perfume seems to be a tad different on everyone due to their body chemistry. Anyways, it’s adorable and the packaging and bottle are pretty cute as well. Definitely will be buying again. BTW note that you can get this scent on ebay for only around $10 . so if you want to try it out, it’s not like you’ll break the bank 🙂 hope i helped! happy holidays everybody

Heavy sweet and very cloying! I don’t mind gourmands, but this one was a bit too much for my liking. It is very strong, so spray very lightly or be prepared for headaches! If you want to smell like a chocolate cupcake, try this. I thought Aquolina’s pink sugar was sweet, but this is much sweeter.

It really smells sweet, chocolaty. I like to spray it in the air, maybe as an air refreshener but not on my skin. Clothes… in the closet.. maybe.. ? But it’s really too strong and sweet and I will not be wearing this on my neck.
