I have no idea if this has been around together with Cashmere Mist EP for a long time or a reformlation but I have started to see it around and gave it a try. Disappointing as it simply does not work on me. The original Cashmere Mist is my reference smell for that cashmere fuzziness, that soft caress and cloud of chic comfort – way before I got familiar with niche musks or gourmands.
Well, this is just a harshly chemical rendering of that. Thin but aggressive, not fuzzy but edgy with a prominent alcohol smell. I even got a strong nail varnish or polish remover smell on my skin – and not in a nice, experimental way. Totally disappointing.
