I’m the girl, well woman now, that always wants to smell like cotton candy, sugar, the body sprays so many wore in middle school and high school in the early 2000’s, ect. So this is perfect for me. It’s not so one note as the things I just mentioned, it’s sweet, warm and sexy (imo, the definition of sexy varies a lot by opinion). It has nice lasting power and I get compliments when wearing it, mostly from men. This fragrance definitely has a certain vibe, it’s either very much your thing or not even remotely at all, it’s isn’t a “meh, whatever” scent. You have to love sweet gourmand or this isn’t for you.

That girl who wore that sugary cotton candy body spray in middle school and got Vanilla Bean Noel in her stocking every Christmas grew up into a beautiful and financially stable woman, and she probably smells like this.
This is a warm, comfortable toasted caramel with a dry down that has just the right touch of musk to feel clean and sophisticated. I like it alone or to sweeten other, dryer fragrances. To me, it seems to disappear on my skin after a few hours but people still compliment my fragrance so maybe it’s more potent than it seems.
Pass this up if you don’t enjoy gourmands. It isn’t something I’m in the mood for every day, but it has certainly earned a home among my collection.

To me this is a dusty, musty musk scent, it itches in my nose, the powdery note is like old dust. It is a very warm scent, sweet but the dusty musk is the main note after 30 minutes and stays the same from then on. It isn’t a young uplifting scent at all, it is moody like an old attic stuffed with books and mold. I like that scent in attics not on my skin. Headache inducing because it’s the kind of smell that hangs around at the top of your nose between the eyes.

Before I begin I have to admit to being a bit miffed. unspent a long time poring over fragrances, sniffing dann coffee beans, smelling and smelling. And then I found it. Prada. The original. It smelled great, it lasted long, hubby liked it lots. And one day, one sad day, its gone. And in its place was the sickly sweet scent of Prada Candy. When I was 4 I had a cotton candy machine (I don’t know how they got away with selling that to kids) that got real hot and burned the cotton candy. That’s what I got from it. Sugar overdose and burnt cotton candy. Yes I am bitter because they don’t have my Prada anymore. But put that aside. This stuff still sucks.

I received this as a gift this Christmas from a good friend. All of my family and friends know I love perfume, and usually gift me with great fragrances! I had not previously sampled this, being I am on a Gucci kick with fragrances.
This one missed the mark for me. I have already given it away. On my skin, it had a very odd and unpleasant scent. It’s a gourmand (I don’t do well with those usually,) and I have grown to love the scent of coconut, but that’s about it.
This must of not mixed with my body chemistry well, because it smelled very mature, pungent. Much like musty old clothes, cheap body spray, bug repellent and mothballs to me. I was shocked, because Prada is usually very fashion forward, and this was way too dated for me. I was expecting something different. The bottle clearly screams 1980’s art deco, and the fragrance is also period correct, it has high silage and is heady like perfumes of that era.
I gifted it to my teen daughter, who adores it. With her it, smells like coconut candy and sweet vanilla carmel notes. Very warm and innocently sensual. Fits her perfectly. Don’t know what happened with me. I wouldn’t say it’s worth it’s price.
It’s a hit or miss. I’d definitely sample first, to see how it wears on yourself. Not a blind buy here.

I started liking this, it reminded me of Jessica Simpson Fancy, sweet and spicy. Then it morphed into bug spray on my skin, yuck.
I have to pass.

I’ve had this several times as samples over the years and I generally enjoy the scent. It’s on the “sweeter” side of perfumes, but isn’t overpowering or sickeningly sweet. When I catch a whiff of it throughout the day it’s nice. Probably wouldn’t buy a full-size, but enjoy when I do get it as a sample or deluxe-sample.

You either love sweet/cotton candy scents, or you don’t.. I happen to love them????.. I recently picked this up after reading reviews saying that this was the more upscale/mature version of Aquolina Pink Sugar(which I also have and love). I agree that they are similiar, and while I’m far from a fragrance describing expert, I will just say I love the notes of caramel, vanilla, cotton candy, and just plain sweet sugary goodness.. Will forever repurchase regardless of price.

I have al Rehabs Golden Sand first and that smells just like Prada Candy so if you want a cheaper alternative or a dupe imo. Go with al Rehabs Golden Sand it is so similar I mix the 2 so the Candy lasts longer on my skin. It does last but it becomes a skin scent pretty quickly. I love the way this smells though! I love caramel and benzoin vanilla is just so yummy. This is also a great cold weather scent I love wearing it in this type of weather it really shines in the cold if you ask me. I love the packaging on this and I had bought the 3 piece set and ended up giving the roller ball to my sister because she really loves this fragrance too.
It’s very expensive and I wish it lasted longer and had better sillage. But I like a loud scent this is more demure and that’s just fine. It doesn’t detract any lippies because the scent itself is very well done. I love this on me it dries down into a spicy powdery vanilla musk which I love. As a musk lover I really wanted to try this and it does not disappoint. This is such a warm, lovely fragrance that I’m really enjoying for the cold months. Also the vanilla in this smells so good this really is a lovely perfume.

I’ve been looking for a nice everyday perfume for days that I didn’t want to have to think about what to wear. This is definitely what I was looking for! Just gourmand enough since that’s my favorite genre, but still fresh enough from the musk to keep it perfectly casual. The kind of perfume that goes with every outfit, especially with Uggs and jeans in the fall.
I bought the gift set with the body lotion which is lovely as well. While the sillage isn’t super strong, I find that this perfume lasts throughout the day pretty well. I would totally buy a deodorant (like the famous Cashmere Mist) in this scent if they made one.
It smells how a hug from my son when he was little felt. So warm and snuggly, my new happy scent. Vanilla and lightly caramelized, it’s like a grown up version of the Viva La Juicy line. And I love the bottle!!
