A lovely grapefruit scent first on with, yes, touches of other things like passionfruit and mango. It lacks the sharp, cat pee edge I often get in grapefruit scents. Doesn’t last at all though, and at the very end, it goes a little powdery on me. Still, nice for the pricepoint, which can’t really be beat.

This opens with great mango, great in that it isn’t very sweet. I swear I smell passionfruit in addition to grapefruit. This is a nice break from the very sweet mango notes I’ve encountered lately. Given its name, I thought this one would be over-the-top sweet, but it isn’t. Pacifica always seems to please.

I have this in rollerball, a format that Pacifica does very well. I am a dabber and dislike sillage. Mango grapefruit is more candied mango than strong grapefruit (not nearly as potent grapefruit as Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune which I adore, but some people find difficult to wear).
It is straightforward, linear dry down, sweet, no surprises, a good performer for the price and available at Whole Foods which is very convenient, so if you like sweet fragrances, this would be an easy choice.
This is a bit too sweet for me, but it cannot think of what to layer with to tone it down. I would normally try to tone down sweetness with a carnation, sandalwood, leather, incense, vetiver or cedar scent, but somehow none of those sound right.
Note: on my skin, Pacifica scents go on strong and tenacious and finish sweet

I actually bought this perfume in the roller ball form–it literally smells amazing. Its really freshly scented and makes me feel citrusy with a slight hint of sweet mango nector. It is very light, and is not a heavy scent at all. I personally like the smell of lemon/orange like scents, especially during the spring ans summer time. I don’t really care for heavy scents either. The only bad thing about this perfume is it does not last long at all. Bummer.
But the packaging for the roller ball perfume is great, I can slip it in my purse and go.

Just tried BMG for the first time and so far i love it.
It reminds me of a more sophisticated version of BBW’s Mango Mandarin.
Very sweet Mango notes tempered with a pure grapefruit zest – kinda-sorta like Pamplelune (it can get “skunky” but not too bad). I enjoy this in summertime as it is light and does not last long (Youwill have to re-apply). This seems to be true for most Pacifica scents.
Love this line – and so far love BMG.
I am now willing to give this 5 lippies. It is growing on me and so far I am loving it.
I am now about 1/2 way through the bottle and I know I will buy another.

Amazing scent! The grapefruit is sophisticated, optimistic and intoxicating. Ditto to everything MandaLuv said in prior review, including the linear scent and lack of staying power. The bottle is clutch friendly – order the free cap if you pick up a version w/o it – and the price is okay considering how frequently you’ll need to reapply. Would begrudgingly buy again because I ADORE the scent but am infuriated at the spritz addiction I’ve had to develop with this stuff! I’ve had linger issues with Pacifica’s solids as well (ahem wondrous Bali Lime Papaya) but still go back for more….

Pacifica Brazilian Mango Grapefruit spray is a very juicy fruity scent. The sweetness of the mango is tempered just the right amount by tart grapefruit. It is a very linear scent that doesn’t last long on skin. It is very topnote-heavy and I wish it had more of a base. However, it’s a very realistic, natural-smelling fruity scent that is a great choice for summer. It’s similar to a B&BW EDT but you won’t smell it everywhere. I am already blowing through this bottle because I have to refresh several times a day, but I don’t mind having to buy more because it’s not very expensive. The only reason I took off 1 lippie is the staying power. Otherwise this is an excellent fragrance.
