I wanted to like this fragrance so much. I really did. I gave it several wearings to make myself like it but its just not happening. It has one of my most favorite notes in a perfume and that is blackberry. I was hoping Exotic was going to be a juicy blackberry scent but it isnt. I cant barely detect it. Also, i thought this perfume was going to be as wonderful and tropical and beachey smelling as the regular Bora Bora but it isnt. Its just blah. It does have a floral note of rose which i can detect from time to time but it doesnt save the fragrance. Dont be fooled by the pretty pink and light blue box and bottle. This scent isnt pretty. It’s bad. So disappointing.

This is one of my favourite clean “beachy” scents for hot weather. The tall glowing frosted aqua glass bottle with bamboo design match its character perfectly! Bright, juicy, clean, fresh, peppery, romantic. I get tangy blackberry, dewy bright roses, sweet vanilla orchids, waxy crayons, bananas, and a peppery powdery sharpness. I usually find peppery powdery “Bamboo Lotus” style fragrances give me a headache and smell cheap (Salvador Dali’s “Little Kiss Cherry” is one). But this one has enough fruit and florals to make it workable, and prettier than all the rest. Good value for what you pay. Moderately long lasting, around 3 – 4 hours on my oily skin.

Blackberry, violet and rose stand out on this one for me. It’s sunshine in a bottle. The violet in this is princessy. The blackberry in this is mouth watering. The rose is just exquisite. The three together are amazing. Delightful any time of the year but this scent leaves you speechless in the sunshine and summer breezes. This is a favorite of mine. The bottle is a frosted blue and just perfect for this scent but the sticker makes it look pretty cheap….well it IS!!!! but it doesn’t smell like it. You could say you got this at an expensive store and paid BIG bucks for it and not a soul would dispute it! Feminine galore. Of course these statements are ONLY true if you love violet, rose, and blackberries!

Bora Bora Exotic…I was expecting something tropical and, well, exotic. I got a nice generic white floral. Pleasant, clean smelling, rather like good quality soap. This doesn’t smell cheap. It’s unoffensive and could be worn to work.

Pretty fruity scent, should appreal to those who like Escada’s summer offerings. I can detect peach, maybe a touch of melon.
