This is an amazingly sensuous scent that I love to wear all year round,
It draws compliments, seems to project well and lasts for ages.
If you love the smell of almonds and vanilla then you have to try this one.
The orange note melds beautifully with the above notes too.
This perfume makes me feel happy and sophisticated.

I have this EDP for years. I can try and wear other perfumes and forget about it at times, but always return and enjoy more and more every time discovering new notes. It is suitable for any season and any weather. Vanilla and almond with bergamot do smell like Sicily – inviting and charming.

For those of you, who seek a gourmand milky sweet smelling scent for the warmer days: give Mandorlo Di Sicilia a chance be it for yourself or for your bf/hubby/father/brother.
The drydown is very sweet vanilly and sandalwoody but it never gets too sticky or sickening (even or should I say: especially not during summer) because it’s very well balanced with the freshness of bergamot, white beach, green almond and orange blossom. It’s very longlasting and if you want a little extra freshness and THE ultimate scent: apply Mandorlo first and layer the Bergamotto di Calabria, which is also from the Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo line on top and you will notice that these two scents are a perfect match, almost like they have been made for eachother and it’s a perfect fusion. I purcased both for my bf and he loves wearing them on their own or together.

How would I live without this? Although it can be pricey, it’s worth every penny- and then some. This scent makes me feel a lot more put together then I actually am. To me it smells like creme brûlée, root beer (in a really good way), almonds, cherries… it’s a rich scent. I also cannot stop pretending to scratch my nose so that I can smell it. This is amazing! My three holy grail products: St. Tropez self tanner, Bobbi Brown Foundation and this!

This one *was* ostensibly almond at first but the almond disappeared in minutes, revealing an overripe fruit swimming in saccharine tonka musk. Like, dunked in Splenda. :/ I was bummed out as the description touted much almond, but this is too sweet.
And this is coming from a girl who *loves* the toothache of sugary syrup Comptoir Sud Pacifique’s line!
Moreover, it wasn’t just on my skin. I sprayed it on a test strip and the two SA’s in Bergdorf Goodman confirmed with me the almond is more of an opening than a lingering heart/base note. I’m going to give it a second try, however, if it’s still at a Sephora.

My first ADP fragrance, my bottle looks different than the picture here, it is short thick blue glass with a sturdy blue top.
“Almond tree of Sicily” is quite lovely, very well formulated. I love the creamy sweetness, it is gentle and non cloying. I am fond of the anise component, this has a slight “root beer” quality to it but not in an off putting way. I would call this a refined cozy comfort scent. Would work well in jeans and a tee as an every day spritz, or dress it up in a silk gown with patent leather shoes.
Very versatile. I am a fan of ADP now must try more, I encourage you too as well!
I am docking brownie points because my bottle I ordered from Sephora is a little leaky.

I absolutely adore this fragrance, it is warm and milky and smells divine in warm weather. It almost smells like white chocolate with a hint of citrus. For an edt the lasting power is impressive!

Mmmmm…
This smells really good, but in an odd way. It’s a creamy orange popsicle, more than an almond (although I still smell almond distinctly, and I think it’s one of the best almond fragrances around), it keeps my nose attached to my wrist, it’s almost hypnotizing, but… it smells like a Barbie doll, brand new out of the box.
Yes, it smells like a little girl’s world, Barbie dolls and pink dresses and all. I’d love to smell this on my niece, but not on me.

I have just tried this and have completely fallen in love with it. I can’t stop smelling my wrist. It’s a beautiful sunny spring day today and this scent makes me think of holidays and lazy fun filled days and nights.
I really want to buy it right now but will restrain myself until payday…

I’m so on the fence about this one and it’s a sad sad fence because I thought I would really love this. I have a soft spot for sweet, comfy fragrances and especially almond notes – though they sometimes tend to turn too plasticky on me and Hypnotic Poison is bane to my existence. Mandorlo di Sicilia presents none of these problems. It’s a lovely almond that has a lovely airiness that comes from the star anise. This is not a very strong note after the opening blast and does not dominate the fragrance’s almondy character. The only thing that makes me think twice is the sugared milk sweetness that tends to grow and grow on my skin, turning this fragrance into a vanilla musk with just a tad of almond. If this balance was the other way around, this could be HG for me but I think I don’t want to buy a vanilla musk right now. Medium sillage and very good lasting power on my skin.
