I ordered this (EBAY) after reading favorable reviews at another site. Frankly , I am impressed . I do not smell rose at all , but a melange of spices and an aromatic note that is refreshing . It reminds me a little bit of an old favorite by Estée Lauder ( who has ruined everything they ever created ) called Sensuous Noir.
Beyond Rose is spicy, feminine and best of all LASTING . I got two compliments in one day and I could still smell it clearly on my clothes at the end of the day! The first few minutes do not smell wonderful, but it quickly dies down to a slightly sweet and tart scent that is sophisticated and feminine. This perfume impresses me much more than the latest offerings from Dior, Chanel, and Givenchy ( sad to say that ) .
If you ever enjoyed sensuous Noir or Calvin Klein’s Euphoria, you might like this . This is a perfume I will wear and enjoy all seasons and I think others will like it . The dry down is very pretty .

What’s wrong with the Clinique company that this is sold only in “outlet” stores in the US? This is an incredible fragrance! It’s a seductive spicy rose that I find extremely beautiful. It’s the kind of perfume I always want, but rarely can find. When I wear this I feel like a queen in the desert.

Imagine my surprise when i saw this for sale. I was absolutely amazed i was able to come upon this fragrance so easily. The bottle is absolutely a work of art and looks Arabian. Clinqiue’s new Beyond Rose Fragrance is the latest Fragrance from Clinique. It’s been sometime since I’ve smelt a truly beautiful perfume. What can I say about it…it’s captivating, addictive and modern is how I’d best describe it. It’s different from anything else from Clinique before and you can tell it’s inspired by the Middle East from the design on the bottle to the fragrance itself. Clinqiue’s new Beyond Rose Fragrance is the latest Fragrance from Clinique. It’s been sometime since I’ve smelt a truly beautiful perfume. It has most of the notes that we have come to love from Aeromatics Elixir but his time it has delicate rose and a slight trial of amber. It’s a modern Arabian perfume, not over-powering at all but actually draws you into it. The combination of Rose and Oud is intoxicating, it’s not a typical oud scent its kinda like only the good part of oud. Not overpowering but there. The fragrance contains scents of white pepper, rose oil and rose absolute, freesia flowers, osmanthus blossom, mate leaves, warmed and deepened by amber, labdanum, styrax and benzoin. The key notes are a interesting blend of rose which develops over layers and the depth of the fragrance comes from the base notes of amber which adds a cozy warmth to it. Lasting power if incredible at approximately 24hours.
