I gotten a sample of this and i must say its super clean scent almost soapy. I was interested in this mainly for the freesia. Though its not very strong, it is there, somewhere. This i tried in EDP and its not unique imo. Like the name suggests, Beige. This def smells like the color. Some might find this boring, but for daytime, office, all year round itll be perfect. Its so clean and light. It will not offend anyone. Lacks projection and depth. I will not be purchasing the full bottle because i am just not in “love” with this. I feel its easily dupeable. Nothing groundbreaking and i honestly cannot even rememeber or imagine the smell unless i sniff it. Ive also tried Gardenia and it wasnt great either. I do like my orientals, so i want to try Coromandel and Ive heard wondeful things about Bois des Iles!
Some of my favorite Fragrances are:
Chanel Jersey Les Exclusifs EDP
Chanel Paris-Venise EDT
Chanel Chance eau Vive
Tom Ford Jasmine Rouge

I recently purchased the 6.8oz EDT (I was thinking about purchasing the EDP but the bottle is sooo small! I thought a big bottle would serve me better & just apply more I guess!), blind buy $300 later ohhh Beige you had me at hello! I love this!! So so sooo much my fave perfume I’ve ever smelled or owned, it is so amazing my weak words don’t do this masterpiece justice. It is very much gardenias & frangipani, soaps too the cleanness, I’m no good at describing fragrance but this is just so classy & i do agree w below it reminds me of baby shampoo when baby shampoo was much better back in the 80s! I about fainted when I sprayed it 4 the 1st time, it was so fantastic! Here I was thinking Chance had been the best thing I had smelled & Beige w a name like Beige upstaged it a bit! I think this smells like Hawaiian flower lei’s, a memory of my 2007 Maui trip. The lasting power is not the most stellar it’s an EDT but it’s a skinscent most def it pulls you in close, it’s incredible creamy & a bit of musk I do detect. My mom told me “1 good perfume is better than 50 bath&bodyworks.” Included w what is the worlds most expensive mascara sample lol oh well YOLO! Beige is NOT stuffy, boring, snobby nor pretentious. Downtown triple crown!!
Edit 02/01/16: I’m regrettably returning sending beige back. Oh it was a beautiful fragrance the most incredible but it lacked any staying powder. I’m inconsolable ATM. I’m going to take the advice of the lady on the phone from Chanel dot com & get Allure, Coco, & Coco Noir in eau de Parfum. She told me to avoid EDTs but maybe someday I will buy beige Parfum althou Lisa @ Chanel did some research b4 she kindly returned my telephone call (she was so nice & classy), she rec’d those 3 scents in EDP even over just plain Parfum. I always thought Parfum was the strongest version but I don’t mind one bit she said EDP coz EDP is a fraction of the cost. At Dillards 1 can buy a bottle of EDP (regular not Les Exc) for $125 3.4oz (small bottle is 1.2oz I believe for $96 so the 3.4 is a much better deal!). Beige Parfum is $200 for 0.5oz. I’m so sorry to see beige go but for $280 (almost $300 w tax) the scent should last way longer than 2 seconds. And I sprayed both beige & Dior Addict (which is cheap comparatively coming in at just under $75) & I asked her which she thought smelled better & she said Dior! I was surprised to say the least. But I want Chanel EDP d@m-it & nobody puts baby in a corner. I shall have Chanel perfume!
Edit 02/10/16: my parents are simply the best! I received a very generous gift of an 0.5oz (15ml) bottle of Beige Parfum for my Valentine’s gift early w Chanel body cream which is supposed to make the scent last longer & work tremendously well w the Lex Exclusifs line to make it last. Literally like a drop of Parfum I can still smell on myself an hour later. The scent is so different between the EDT & Parfum both beautiful but the Parfum is much more concentrated but in a good positive way not the kind of scent that will announce your arrival 10 feet ahead of you, but it will leave a gracious long lasting impression–I’ve never smelled anything as beautiful as beige Parfum. I was telling my mom is like soapiness shampoo clean skin vanilla but not gourmand not boozy nor cheap, beige just has an easy chic gracious air of a way. Not too stepford wives but chic, elegant, kind, the type of woman who comfortable in her own skin, does not sweat the small stuff, & makes everybody feel included & welcome groups of people with her witty banter, never sharp, scathing nor sarcastic. An old soul. I could wear Beige to a wedding, the movies, a small gathering of friends, a date or I could wear this all by myself feeling privileged & happy. It takes me to a happy place. This scent won’t attract cat calls but I could see it being attractive to the type of man who has status & conservative yet tasteful qualities. Aquolina Pink Sugar is cougar bait but beige i do not wear for anyone else’s benefit. I wear beige selfishly for my own purposes becoz it makes me happy & very few things in this life make me deliriously happy so YOLO so it gives me such hedonistic pleasure. This Parfum is for pleasure seekers! 🙂 I also received 3 Chanel lipsticks, Chanel Signe Particuliers eyeshadow quad, & Chanel hand cream from my parents so yeah I’m single for Valentine’s Day like usual but I’m doing me 101% loving it I love my family so so SO much! <3

Beige is a beauitful modern Chanel fragance. Luminous floral which to me is Chanel Gardenia with a teeny amount of sweet honey and basenotes !
If you love Gardenia but have problems iwt longevity then use Beige.
I love Beige ..it is a very versatile fragrance .
It is is similar to J’adore to me but much much better.

This is a nice, pretty floral—not too overpowering, but also not very memorable. I’ve worn it a few times and liked it well enough, but it doesn’t make my heart skip a beat.

A nice tropical floral which brings to mind Micallef’s Ylang. However, Beige has a honey note present that is in Ylang. Ylag, in contrast, is more much creamy. Beige has a slightly fruity note to it in the heart that I don’t really enjoy.

I was totally disappointed by the scent of Chanel’s ‘Beige’. I found it to be a very basic, forgettable floral/nectar scent with poor lasting power. When you couple that with the exorbitant price, I can’t for the life of me understand why it’s so highly rated and sought-after.

White florals and honey: sounds like it would be a disaster on me, so I’m surprised to find it isn’t! It’s like they know what they’re doing over at Chanel or something. This actually smells like a fresh flowering shrub, with of course a good dose of old-fashioned elegance. (Chanel, after all.) Cozy and fresh and pretty, and never turns weird on me. Reminds me almost of a soft green scent, like Shiseido’s Relaxing smelled on me, rather than a white. I *might* want more of it. Very intriguing.

Chanel Beige was my blind buy and I’m very happy I bought it. I love it a lot. It’s yellow flowers and honey perfume, so rounded and smooth. Would be appropriate for any situation. If I can’t decide which perfume to wear I always reach for Beige. Staying power is not that strong, I wish it lasted longer, i only can smell it for 3 hrs. I didn’t have chance to smell Beige in parfum form, but plan to add it to my collection, since I love it so much in edt form. My friend, who doesn’t like any Chanel perfumes, loves Beige a lot and always tries some at my place. I will absolutely repurchase it again once I finish my bottle. This is one of the perfumes I don’t get tired of. Must have for me.

I love Beige.
I mean I really, really love it.
Which is shocking to me because I thought I would hate it. I’m not usually a huge fan of white florals, and the mere thought of tropical white florals (frangipani in this) is enough to make me want to shudder. I’m also not a fan of sweet or gourmand scents, so the idea of a honey note on top of all those white flowers was enough to make me stay far far away from this for years. But oh, how wrong I was.
This is inarguably a masterpiece. Yes, I’m biased, but seriously: how they took those notes and made something so light and pretty, well I’ll never know (although I suspect it must be the hawthorne), but truly, the magic of this compilation is the mark of an extremely skilled artist. Is it retiring? Perhaps a bit. But I don’t see that as a bad thing. Rather, I find it’s refined elegance immensely refreshing. There is literally nothing else on the market that smells like it. It’s not a big white floral, nor is it an intoxicating oriental, so for those that prefer such rather bold fragrances, I get that this isn’t your thing. Although it is a “floriental” at heart, it’s really a skin scent. It doesn’t smell like perfume, but rather it adheres and smells like “you”, which is what I think makes so many reviewers want to call it “classy”. It suggests that you are just so chic (and so wealthy, with the bath products and laundry detergents to match) that this is just what you happen smell like all the time, before you’d perfume on in fact. Far-fetched, I know, but it’s true.
I could easily (and do) wear this every day because it fits literally every occasion. It’s subtle enough that I can get away with it first thing in the morning, but special enough that I enjoy wearing it for an evening out as well. To those that call it bland, I must strenuously disagree. Bland, to me, is another of those department store fruity-floral flankers that come out on a bi-annually basis. This is complex. It’s light and clean, without having the prescribed citrus opening. It’s floral and feminine, but not overwhelmingly so, without any of the indole, headiness or sweetness that one might anticipate. And perhaps most notably, it’s dry-down is warm and deep, so much so that I look forward to wearing this in the winter (although it’s perfect for summer, too), but neither does it have that expected sandalwood/vanilla/amber heaviness to it that many other’s in the genre do. In that way, it does share similarities to Chanel’s own Allure, but I far prefer this — it’s much more delicate and unexpected.
So yes, I would buy this again. In both sizes. And the parfum, too. Plus an extra of each just to make sure I never run out. Because as I first said, I love Beige. It’s me. It’s how I always wanted to smell.

I have a decant of this, solely because I was intruiged by the name and then swayed by the reviews. I am so glad I bought it and plan to buy a full bottle when I finish the decant.
I could virtually write ditto to CharismaSL’s review and comments re; Beige below, I wont but this will be brief.
For something so sweet smelling its amazing that it also smells so ‘natural’, well not natural but it does seem to merge skillfully into my own skinscent.
Very long lasting, I’m not sure of sillage in terms of what other people can smell but I keep getting little whifts of it all day, and even after a shower it lingers. Love it, will buy a full bottle and keep buying unless something drastically changes with it or my skin chemistry.
As always I wouldn’t recommend buying a full bottle wihtout trying first, but if your skin likes this scent then I think you’ll be wearing and repurchasing often.
ETA I still love it and bought the parfum today. I can’t see how it can ‘ve better than the EDT but I look forward to finding out 😉
