I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this perfume ever since I first tried it at a store – the smell is amazing, light and fresh, just the way I like it. The problem is the same I encounter with all the DKNY perfumes (I have three, including this one) – the staying power. The smell just doesn’t last. You’d expect a relatively expensive perfume to last more than 2-3 hours. You’d also expect I’d learn from my previous experience with my other two DKNY perfumes, buuut that’s another story.
Even though DKNY fragrances are, like, MADE for my taste, I don’t think I’m buying any of them again. I prefer to invest in something that’s more long-lasting.

I haven’t been impressed by any of the DKNY versions other than Be Delicious…until now. This stuff smells amazing. I wish they would have made the bottle for Be Desired look a little more different than the Be Delicious bottle because this fragrance really can stand alone. I saw it described as a green floral and that sounds about right. I don’t like a lot of florals but this one smells young yet sexy at the same time and it also sticks around for a decent amount of time. I actually may like Be Desired better than Be Delicious. It smells simply amazing and what it dries down to smells even better than when it is first sprayed. Not everyone has this one either….yet, anyway. I don’t get much, if any apple smell in this one but some of the other notes are similar though there are new ones as well. It manages to be fresh and green yet also warm. Update: I still think this fragrance smells really sexy, but my boyfriend who loves the original DKNY thinks this one smells a bit musky and doesn’t care for it quite as much. Guess it’s a matter of personal taste.
