Yes, this is a sweet fragrance ( and I usually hate those) but much more complex than your average gourmand. You also get flowery and metalic woody notes that make this much more interesting. Very warm and sensual. Definitely a perfume for cold weather. Good staying power and sillage. Full bottle worthy for me.

This fragrance opens with a marvellous gourmand accord composed of spices, floral and resinous notes. The impression is sweet but airy like a delicious, whipped vanilla cream made by a Laduree pastry chef. As the fragrance progresses, the sweetness diminishes and the salty warmth of the ambergris is allowed to shine in all its glory. In this stage I would not describe it as gourmand anymore but rather as a sweetish oriental. I associate this fragrance with warmth, harmony and wellbeing, a true comfort scent. Lasts for roughly 6 hours.

i m a big fan of amber scents and amber gris is the best i have tried so far,i have a gift set and i must say that the body lotion is lovely,u can easily wear it without applying the perfume,besides my insolence lotion is the best i have tried . the perfume itself is strong at first but then it dries down nicely,it is a warm aura which stays with u the whole day….not to mention the lovely bottle,very ellegant and refined just like the juice from inside.i will definetly repurchase after i finish my bottle and bodylotion.
