I love this scent. It’s very creamy and beachy. I simply adore tiare flower so any scent that has that in it is a winner for me. I gave it only 4 start because the staying power is very short lived. For they price they ask that is very unsatisfactory.

This is an uncomplicated, yummy tropical fragrance: tiare flower, frangipani, coconut, vanilla. Gardenia is always a winner for me because my skin will tone down the sharpness and turn it creamy-sweet. Aloha Tiare is not a ~work of art~ but it’s so pretty and evocative, settling close to the skin to mingle with your personal aroma, turning into this warm, breathy, summer-skin scent. The vanilla isn’t overpowering, thank god. There is decent throw and lasting power, too. Layer this over coconut oil and damnnnnn you’ll want to snuggle with your own damn self.
I enjoy the Comptoir Sud Pacifique metal bottles too – they’ve got this modern functional vibe, and they spray an ULTRA fine mist, almost like hairspray.

This grew to be my absolute favorite EDT and I get so many compliments on how I smell. Literally EVERYONE I work with asks what I’m wearing and wants to know where to get it. I typically get mine on eBay because they have some great deals, especially on testers. Since I travel so much, the old packaging with the metal bottles was perfect, but they’ve since changed to glass bottles, much to my disappointment. It’s great that they make their line in all different sizes, perfect for on-the-go in your purse.
I’ve loved the Comptoir Sud Pacifique line ever since I smelled Vanille Abricot on my cousin years ago and never looked back since. I’m sure they’re not for everyone and since all body chemistry is different, the dry-down varioes, however this is definitely a winner for me and I love-love-love it!

I like this…it’s like a tropical vanilla based gardenia scent…very unusual and exotic…
3 spritz and that’s enough for the entire day…

Not best version of tiare. Cloying and headache inducing. Adore gardenia based island scents but this fell short.

I like aloha tiare and on me it lasts a long time. It does develop as it wears down (silage) to a more sharp nut/flower smell. It is less floral than I would like it but I like that it is unusual and thats why I would buy it again. No one in the room will be wearing it, and it is an inviting tropical fragrance.

I paid a discounted price for this but I expected this to be a refreshing, fruity, gardenia infused – coconut perfume.
This smells like the tropical air freshener you hang in your car. Strong, artificial fruit punch (the really cheap kind), with a blend of some fermenting fruits, and a blast of sun tan coconut. So weird, maybe I’ll give this a go when summer rolls around. But geez this is potent and reeks of dollar store perfume.

I bought this on clearance at Winners for $12.00 without smelling it, knowing CSP’s previous Tiare, and knowing what Tiare smells like. I hoped, at the very least, to get a tropical fragrance to wear in the sultry Summer days. At first smell, I got the tiare and a strong, powdery, plastic-y smell. I figured I could swap or sell it. After the drydown, however, there’s just the trpoical tiare/monoi (?) smell with a lovely undercurrent of coconut and a touch of vanilla. I kept shoving my wrist in my boyfriend’s face and now that it’s calmed down, he says “it smells like cake”. Me likey.
The only reason I would not repurchase it that it will probably last me forever. It seems to wear pretty long.

Didn’t really like the first cheap coconut sunlotion smell blended with baby powder, which turned into a burnt sugary plastic smell after about 3 minutes, but in 30 minutes the beautiful sweet floral notes (Tiare flower, Gardenia) finally came through and I couldn’s stop sniffing on my wrist!

This is the first product from the Comptoir Sud range that I’ve tried, and I can safely say I will not be trying the others. I thought this would be a reasonably pleasant floral but instead it reeks of juicy-fruit chewing gum, plastic sandwich bags, and the cheap and nasty tropical fruit cleaning spray my garage uses on the inside of my car. The staying power is unfortunately very good and trying to wash it off is useless as water only seems to reactivate the stench! I am embarassed to be wearing this and I agree with the previous reviewer who said that she would give it no lipsticks if that were possible.
