Was gifted a 50ml bottle for my birthday and I love how sophisticated a vanilla scent this is! It is not cupcake-sweet vanilla, but a grown up, subtle vanilla supported by sexy undertones of sandalwood, musk and amber when it dries down. A lot of reviewers say they smell play-doh, but I never got that at all, so maybe it’s all down to how it reacts to a person’s body chemistry. It is pungent, so a little spritz goes a long way. On me, the scent lasts a good 6 hours and even after a shower I can still smell it on my skin.

Tangier Vanille is a spicy smokey vanilla, a warm fragrance more suitable for colder seasons. Lasting power and silage are good, the fragrance does turn color after a few months but the scent stays the same. Would I repurchase this, the answer is no but that’s purely personal, it’s to warm and to smokey for my likings, I prefer a fresher vanilla but it was nice to try something different and the box and bottle are gorgeous on my dresser. Notes: Madagascar Vanilla, Bergamot, Bulgarian Rose, Amber, Sandalwood, Musk.

To be clear, this is for the fragrance in its BODY CREAM iteration.
I love vanilla and I wanted to love this. It is a lovely “sophisticated” vanilla, meaning if you only know vanilla through BBW or Avon or something like that, you will probably not like this one….the Aerin website says that Italian bergamot, Bulgarian rose, sandalwood, and musk round out the Madagascar vanilla heart and give it warmth.
As a fragrance, I find this to be really overpowering; it lingers even after you wash your hands and competes with your perfume (I guess I can’t complain about that since this is meant to be worn on its own or layered with its EDP counterpart). My issue is primarily with how the fragrance outlasts hand-washing but the moisturizing benefits do not.
I have tried the rose scent and found it to be exactly the same quality-wise.
