Adam Levine for Women… It’s an interesting one. I had never smelled this fragrance before, and based on reviews it was really piquing my interest. So, I purchased a bottle from Amazon for about $14.50. The scent reminds me of a mix between Chanel Coco and Guerlain Samsara. It is a heavy dose of spices on a bed of sandalwood. It is a nice fragrance, strong and longlasting. However, it is not at all on trend, which can be a good thing if you are looking for a departure from the typical sweet gourmand; or it can be a bad thing because you will conclude it smells very 1980s and “old-ladyish”. I guess it just depends on the individual. Also, this fragrance is somewhat unisex. I think a man could wear this.
This is a good fragrance for the price point, as long as you like spices and sandalwood.

This is absolutely, without question my favorite celebrity fragrance EVER created… one of my top three favorite perfumes of all time for that matter. In terms of both scent itself and quality. This is easily one of the longest lasting scents in my HUGE collection of over 100 fragrances. No joke. Very rarely does a perfume last longer than 2-4 hours on me. This will go 12+hours on my skin and days on clothing. The quality is unbelievable in the best way possible.
On me it is a really warm, comforting, slightly powdery, sandalwood scent. Sweet, but not reminiscent of candy like every other celebrity fragrance on the market. It’s just a hint of realistic vanilla sweetness to balance out the woody, creamy notes. It has great silage but yet isn’t offensive. It truly is the perfect fragrance! Great price, great quality, great smell. My only gripe (totally aesthetic) is I hate the packaging. Like, it’s one of the ugliest bottles in history. lol But honestly, I don’t care. I have ordered two 3.3 oz back up bottles because I’m scared it will be discontinued due to its poor marketing/packaging. lol I do recommend letting this fully dry down on your skin before making a opinion. Like any great fragrance, it mingles with your chemistry for a while to truly reach its magic. The first spray out the bottle is NOT what you’re going to smell like for 12 hours.
I’m just telling you though, this is a great fragrance! I have Givenchy, Gucci, Thierry Mugler, Tom Ford, YSL, Lancôme, etc in my collection and THIS is what I wear most often. My friends and coworkers are always shocked to discover what it is after asking about it because it smells expensive and they assume that anything I’m wearing is. I’m like, “Nope. 20 bucks!” lol Adam Levine is that fragrance in my collection that I just adore FOR ME. I don’t care what other people think (although others do compliment it) I wouldn’t care if everyone around me hated it, I’d still wear it because it makes me feel really confident and comfortable in my own skin.
This is similar to Estée Lauder’s Sensuous but this is far superior in quality & longevity and a quarter of the price! And honest to God a better fragrance overall! This is one of those rare gems. Must try in my opinion!

One small spritz gave me an instant headache. Definitely not for me, at least my body chemistry.

I love this one….the first time I tried it (Tester, at Kohl’s) I was really turned off….but I figured I’d give it another try and I’m pretty certain the tester had gone bad. This is NOTHING like what I tried several months ago at Kohls, this is WONDERFUL.
The opening is VERY sweet on me, a bit spicy, but I get almost a sweet candied marshmallow feel to it. I get a lot of base notes quickly, and I can smell the vanilla and benzoin fairly quickly on me, which is awesome as they smell great!
The drydown on me is a smooth rich sandalwood and vanilla, the hint of benzoin still making it candy sweet but NOT toothache sweet—this is NOT a teeny bopper sweet scent. The floral notes are mostly absent on me with the exception of a hint of rose.
This has really dropped in price in the past few months, and a 30ml bottle can be found for $10 or so at Ross–well worth the price to find out if this works on your skin. 2 sprays last about 5 hours on me without respritzing, with decent sillage….after 7 hours it fades to just a skin scent and begs to be respritzed.

I received a sample of this a few months ago and loved it but it smelled so familiar. I put this on one arm and EL Sensuous edt on the other and my nose can’t tell the difference! On some people I’m sure it smells a bit different but to me this was the dupe of Sensuous I was looking for. It sure lasts alot longer on my skin than the EL and it’s *way* cheaper! On ebay I got a 3.3oz tester bottle, with the cap even, for under 20 dollars. It wears a good 6-8 hours if not longer and I love the spicy note this has. Adam Levine has a real winner here and it’s one of my favorites. If you like Sensuous but don’t want to shell out the $$$, try this one and it may take care of your craving.

I absolutely love this perfume. The price I paid was so low and it was a blind buy but I have to say I get so many compliments when I wear this and I can smell the scent after many hours of first putting it on. THe website which I bought it from has stopped selling it which is a shame but the bottle is huge and you only need a couple of sprays so hopefully by the time I run out it will come back on sale. The perfume is a creamy, fruity, dark fragrance, I can smell some rose, perhaps Jasmine but it smells way more expensive than it really is. The bottle itself is a bit weird and resembles a microphone with the lid which is a bit strange but doesn’t deflect from the gorgeous smell. I only hope this doesn’t become discontinued as I really love it!!

I expected this to be different from all the other celebrity fragrances (which are watery, sweet and do not last.) This certainly is different. There is a note in this fragrance that reminds me of Estee Lauder’s Youth Dew….something spicily sharp and unpleasant which lasts and lasts. There is also a sweetness to this (probably the vanilla) but it doesn’t work with my body chemistry. All I get is this lingering spice note which I don’t like. Luckily I only have a sample size so at least I didn’t buy this, because it’s not something I would ever want to wear. On a rather bizarre side note, my cat went crazy for this fragrance and followed me around trying to get a sniff!

Seeing Adam Levine’s fragrance I was intrigued. After all, the frontman of Maroon 5 is incredibly sexy (at the least to me) and I was curious what he would slap his moniker on and call his own in today’s world of celebrity fragrances. Would it be sex in a bottle?
The first time I splashed it on , I did indeed, smell sexual skin. Was my mind deluding me? Perhaps. But this is a skin scent. I’d say it is the Indian Jasmin that’s responsible for the animalic smell I was getting. There’s a bit of leather going on here and Saffron is the culprit there. Adam Levine for Women is a pleasing, powdery, vanilla, sandalwood skin scent. Hours later, light sweet florals make their way in and announce themselves. The leather and florals may make an entrance, but they stay in the corner most of the time, talking to the spices.
The longer this sits on me, the more powdery and woodsy it becomes. It’s not a fragrance to dazzle but more a perfume to relax with, to enjoy pleasantly and one to wear in cooler weather with blazers, open neck shirts and scarfs tossed nonchalantly.
It’s soft and feminine and its projection is close to the skin. Share it at times you want to be close with someone. Its lasting power is quite good-minimal four hours.
Simple rectangular bottle with the name emblazoned across it with a pretty cap. Perhaps layering it will bring out the sillage, I don’t know, but there are sets available. This is a designer fragrance that reminds me of Flowerbomb or Hypnotic Poison(not as spicy) on its drydown for me.
Top Notes: Saffron, Citruses, Marigold, Spices.
Middle Notes: Indian Jasmine, Australian Sandalwood, Rose Petals.
Base Notes: Benzoin, Vanilla,
