I absolutely love this product. I apply a light mist of glycerine water as a finishing spray to make it last all day long.
I’m down to my last bottle and about to reorder. It’s a keeper.❤

I don’t know why people downgrade a product just because of an “old lady smell”. This deserves to be rated objectively. First is the coverage, i like how this has sheer to medium coverage depending on how you build up or layer onto your skin. The texture is also luxurious similar to Dior’s Forever foundation. Though this does not promise to give a matte effect but rather a satiny matte finish that makes your skin look radiant instead of cakey effect – by most matte foundations. But this does not last the whole day – which most foundations do despite their claims.
I never felt any it itchiness nor had any breakout using this. So, will no longer buy Dior’s, Clinique’s or MAC’s after discovering this.

I hate this foundation. The packaging is very nice, and I like the color (beige 000). It is light enough for my skin and I like the yellow undertone. It is very blendable with an almost watery consistency that melts into the skin. I had hoped that I had found “the one” as it felt so luxurious on my skin. It has a perfumed odor similar to roses. Since It is so difficult for me to find foundations that match my skin tone, and do not burn or cause break outs, scent is rarely, if ever, a deal breaker. As I cannot afford to be so fussy but others may be bothered by the scent which is reminiscent of Grandma’s scented soaps and talc. That being said, this foundation does not work for me. I had hopes when the shade was so good and I didn’t feel the burn. However, it provided little coverage, in fact in seemed to accentuate skin flaws that I didn’t even know I had. I won’t try to blend with another bb cream or foundation because it irritated my skin….break outs and redness. My search continues.

Yves Rocher offer a poor range of undertones with and ever poorer rangeof colors. This foundation makes me look ashy and too light than I am. This is not friendly for women of color.

I absolutely love this foundation!
I have fair skin, so I am using number 100 Beige Rose, which blends in beautifully with my skin tone. In that regard, this is the best foundation I ever had. I personally love the rose-ish smell that it has (and I am usually bothered by strong fragrances in my products) and it give me a very healthy and glowing look. I’m 29, so I don’t really fuss if it makes my skin look younger, but it certainly makes it radiant.
I honestly can’t say how long it lasts, because I have very dry skin that sucks in any product that I use, so if the foundation doesn’t last for too long, I wouldn’t say it’s its fault.
It is quite pricey, but YR often give good discounts (when I last bought this I got a 50% discount), and well, for me it works like a dream!

Luckily It was just a sample. The scent is quite strong, and I think I am allergic to the formula because my skin started itching almost right after application. Besides, the foundation turns orange on me and settles in pores.

I am quite surprised by how little I like it:( I try to be very cautious when it comes to buying foundations, and I’ve sampled this one TWICE! It was a different shade than the one i eventually purchased but still! The thing that ‘seduced’ me most was that it is not as chemical as most other products out there and after I sampled it, I was under the impression that the coverage was medium and finish pleasantly matt (i have combination skin).
Well, what can I say- i am happy I bought it with a discount- Yves Rocher is notorius for offering great deals. One other thing to justify them-the do say it is for dry to normal skin but I chose to be adventurous:)
PROS- good selection of colors, bottle without a cap very easy to use, nice list of ingredients, smell is not irritating
CONS- on my skin, especially in the T-zone it washes away almost immediately but strangely enough on drier spots it accentuates the dryness… I also found it quite difficult to blend and very senstitive to what moisturizer you have undearneath… it gets a bit powdery in small lines (perhaps because it has rice in some form or another:)) but it doesn’t accentuate the pors and in some places it lasts:)
overall, definitely not for me but, perhaps, if you have smoother and less oily skin it will work for you
UPDATE: Very much depends on what you use a base because even on my combination skin it CAN last quite long with a right moisturizer or sunscreen

I was pleased to find that this foundation has yellow undertones in the first two shades (000 beige and 001 beige). I did find that it oxidized on my inner wrist so I decided to go with the lighter shade since it initially looked too light. So far this foundation seems pretty good, it comes in a pump bottle so that’s always a plus. I didn’t really notice the youthful glow effect, however that might be because I’m 23 and have no wrinkles. Overall the foundation is wonderfully creamy and blends in very well. It has a faint pleasant scent and isn’t shimmery like I expected it to be. I wouldn’t say its worth $34 though.. Slightly overpriced IMO.
Edit: I should also add that this foundation does not last on the skin very long.. it wears off rather quickly which is a shame because the coverage is really nice.
