Omg the finish of this product is fantastic. Sadly enough the finish only lasts about 4 hours and horribly oxidizes to a lighter color. Made me break out. It’s difficult to touch up with powder as the powder clings to dry or oily areas.

I think is one of my favourite cushions as I have gone through quite a few brands before for my oily/combi skin. The SA recommended me to get this when there is one for one so the price is still ok for me as the product does not come with a refill.
When applying on the face, its gives a cooling sensation and the coverage is not thick but still ok. I haven tried it for full days at work but for half days out it does work and did not separate or oxide like some cushions wg: sulawasoo. Maybe I should try it for work and review its staying power again.
Really love the metal plate idea as it is definately so much hygenic as the puffs are always a pain to wash and will containminate the product easily.
Overall I really love this and will recommend it. However this brand is currenly in Korea only. I will recommend to grab some if you are heading to korea.

I was very skeptical about buying this at first because I had a bad experience with my first ever cushion foundation from Laneige (forgot the full name, only remember it’s for dry skin. It was so horrible that I don’t even want to mention about that cushion). After using the Laneige, I thought cushion foundation was not for me. When I tried this foundation on, I have completely changed my mind. It’s so smooth and dewy. However, you need to moisturize and prime your face well before putting it on. I notice I can get flawless skin only after I apply 2 layers. So remember to apply the first layer thinly only, so that your makeup won’t look too thick after the 2nd layer.
I tried applying this with my Shiseido perfect foundation brush but it did not work. So just use the air puff attached in the box. Good enough! *wink*

This is a great cushion A cushion is a bb cream in a compact format, that usually feel lighter and otten have SPF 50+++. If you’ve ever used a BB cushion you know you normally press your puff (a sponge shaped like a powder puff) into an cushion (inkwell filled with BB crean). They apply even better than BB with a beauty blender. They are wonderful…..but the puffs are total hell to clean and you keep pressing them to your face and into the cushion with the product. There is a yuck factor, as you think about what is in that cushion. Well, VDL solved that issue!. .It has a metal plate between the product and the cushion. You press on it and it dispenses some product through tiny holes. So your puff never touches the product resevoir and it is more sanitary!!!!! If you use the plastic separator that keeps the puff separate from the foundation, it won’t close, but it’s removable. But you don’t need it, with the metal plate. So I just got rid of it. Sometimes the puff wiill dispense a tiny bit of product when you close the compact with the puff in it. I cut out some cotton wipe and put that in there and that takes care of that. Does not come with a refill, but I paid $35 with shipping ofr 5 oz. That is the same amount of product Laneige lists. They give you a refil but does each have 2.5 or 5 oz.? Cushions are not a great deal. Better if you buy the refill.
This is creamier than some cushions, and has alcohol ,which I didn’t catch. It does have silicones, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, plum extract. I put the ingredients so you can see them. The scent is fruity and not too heavy. I am so dry skinned and yet this isn’t drying, though I tend to use it over greasier sunscreens. I’d say it has a semi matte finish and medium coverage that is quite buildable. . It’s very long lasting. Great on redness and pores. Spreads really well. It’s a little bulky to carry but you don’t need to as it last 12 hours. I got shade A203 which is meant to cover redness and has more yellow. I am an N20 in MAC and it’s a perfect match. Work for NC25 very well. There is a pink shade A201 and a lighter shade and a few more options. It has great sunscreen protection, though don’t ever rely on makeup as you wear very little. This applies very easy. Partly more is dispensed and it’s a bit creamier, but you can still apply it thin. Great for those that need a bit more coverage, but don’t like to feel or look like they have a facefull of makeup

First of all, this is a cushion foundation, except that instead of a sponge filled with foundation, there’s a circular metal pad with holes through which the foundation oozes through when you press it with your air puff! I really like this because I feel like it’s more hygienic since I can clean the metal plate instead of worrying about bacteria accumulating every time I press the air puff into a sponge.
This foundation applies the best with the air puff it comes with, and let me say that the end product is pretty beautiful! I have acne-prone skin that is a bit dehydrated I think, so I like something with a bit of a dewy finish, which this foundation has. It also has medium-full, buildable coverage that can cover my acne scars better than any other foundation I’ve tried. It doesn’t look cakey at all but just makes my skin look really bright, dewy, and beautiful. Since it’s a Korean brand, there are 4 shades that are only suitable for fair-medium skin. I use the darkest shade which is A205 (I’m an NC30). I don’t need many touch-ups, but touch-ups are easy and convenient with the air puff.
Unfortunately I feel like it breaks me out a little bit, which is why I took off a lippie. Even then I still can’t bring myself to throw this (or the refill) away as the finish is just too lovely!
