This is your typical silicone AF foundation. So many brands have one, and they really seem to work for like 80% of the population, but for some of us they just turn into a muddy, greasy, sloppy mess after about 2 hours and seem to create more oil.
My skin is combo-oily, but not overwhelmingly greasy. This foundation went on ok- it has that typical silicone slip to it that makes your skin feel soooo smooth. I’d say the coverage is a solid medium; it covered redness and some post acne marks, but left a few freckles visible, which I like. It seemed to cling to some dry spots that I didn’t know I had. I applied it with my mac duo-fibre, but it seems like it would apply well with fingers too.
The finish on me is satin, despite my skin not being too oily naturally, and using a Mattifying sunscreen underneath. It felt really nice on my skin- not heavy at all. It also looked really natural.
The packaging is really good. I don’t like fuss, so the squeeze bottle really appeals to me. Easy to travel with and won’t break if you’re a butter fingers.
After about 2 hours, it started to break down. I looked super oily, and it was creasing around my nose and scowl lines. I kept it on to see what would happen, and by the 8 hour mark it was a horrific mess. Complete breakdown. Accentuated every possible line and bit of dryness, and was oily to the max.
This has happened to me before with countless silicone-based “Mattifying” foundations and bb creams, and I really think it has to do with my sebum, not the product itself. I tend to stick with silicone-free foundations and I find they control oil much better for me, but I must be an exception since the majority of people respond well to silicone.

I have combination skin, and do tend to get oily skin half way through the day. I was disappointed because this foundation did not give the matte look; nor did it have any coverage. However, if you are looking for a very light foundation, this would be the product to buy.

I don’t wear foundation very often, but when I do I wear this.
It’s a super lightweight mousse that definitely mattefies the skin. It doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing makeup. When using a foundation brush to apply you can easily build to get a good medium coverage.

I have a love/hate relationship with this foundation. I purchased it thinking I would have good coverage, but it’s minimal at best. I still have to use concealer to cover my red patches, as this doesn’t have much more pigment than an average BB cream.
I will say, however, that it makes my skin feel wonderful! It’s smooth and buttery, and glides on beautifully. After a couple of hours, though, I can see my oilies coming through on my t-zone. Not worth the price, and I probably won’t repurchase.

I really wanted to like this but there was little to no coverage( I like sheer to medium glowing coverage, and yes I know it’s a matte finish foundation)and I don’t know if I was suppose to use a primer but I did(it was smashbox original clear primer) and the foundation was balling up while I was trying to massage it into my face(again don’t know if it was something that I should have been applying with my clean hands or not),but I really didn’t like this, it would have been workable if it had more coverage. And the search continues for a foundation to match my very pale skin….

While on my never ending quest for foundation, it was recommended to me by a sales associate to buy this one. After being colour matched and having it actually blend with my skin tone, I was very optimistic. Unfortunately, that’s where the pros end. I was told that this would have build-able coverage, it did not. I was told that it would have medium coverage (which is essential for me because of my blotchy skin), it did not. The coverage is almost sheer, though it isn’t as bad as Estee Lauder’s Invisible Fluid makeup, and does not cover any of my imperfections. It felt and looked like I had nothing on my skin. The pros are that it did feel good on my skin and not too heavy, but that’s likely because of the lack of coverage. I’m not sure yet if I’ll finish the bottle or return it, but insofar, I am unsatisfied and will be seeking a different foundation for regular use. This one may be good for good skin days but they happen so rarely that I will not be repurchasing.

I have a hard time finding a foundation that matches my skin. Being on the paler side a lot of them oxidize orange on me. And the ones that don’t break me out. This is by far my favourite foundation that I have used. Goes on velvety and doesn’t look cakey or mask like. You definitely need concealer if you have any blemishes or acne scaring. But I can work with that. It can make my problematic skin look almost flawless. Doesn’t make me oily either like some foundations do. Will definitely be repurchasing this!

I really have a hard time finding foundation that I like – its always too cakey, or not enough coverage. Plus I hate the feeling of make-up on my skin. This foundation is fantastic! Feels light as air, and doesn’t melt in the hot weather. I live in Canada and in the winter when it can get to -40 this foundation doesn’t feel dry. Its a bit pricey for my liking, but really lasts and well worth the price.

Matches my skin really well, which is difficult to do. Easy to blend. I am presently using this or Revlon Colourstay foundation. I think I like this one better, being more natural looking. The Revlon might hide things better. I’m still on the fence which one I like better. But the Watier is a better colour match.

I really enjoy this product. It is a cream mousse texture and blends very easily. You only need a little bit of this product, it goes a long way. It is a light coverage foundation. I wish it has more buildable and was a more medium to full coverage but this is good for every day wear. I have oily skin and this stays on my full 8.5 hr work day.
