I was happy to see this in the drugstore (new item). There weren’t a lot of colors but I picked a shade that worked pretty good for me. Unfortunately after a few days of wearing this my chin and jawline suffered really bad breakouts. I’m also prone to breakout with MAC foundation. I’ll be returning this and sticking with what I know. I did find a lipstick in this line that was great!

Q640 I’m generally a fan off the Queen collection but this wasn’t a home run for me. I honestly use it to mix with another brand CC cream, to match my skin tone. This formula works best with fingers or sponge. It transfers and has very yellow undertones.

I got this in Amber Glow, and it matches my skin perfectly. Makes my skin look super smooth, and it glides on. It lasts pretty long, for it being a cc cream, and it does set itself, not to a matte finish, but a natural finish. I dont see it color correcting any of my skin, but i do find this more of like a foundation, because it doesnt have the coverage of a tinted moisturizer. Works extremely well with the smashbox primer, for it being silicone based. It is buildable, and does not feel heavy. The only con i might have is that, for it being silicone based it might clog some of peoples pores. There is no specific scent to it. Causes a few pimples for me beware.

I’ve loaded up on this twice so far. I’m NC50 in MAC Studio Sculpt and found Sheer Espresso fit just fine. It feels like nothing. And it covers fairly well as you build up with a flat kabuki. Still manages to look like skin.

I have been nothing but disappointed with almost every product in the Cover Girl Queen Collection line … from the too-sheer lipsticks to the heavy, masky foundation.
I saw a young woman on YouTube who shares my complexion. She did a review on this product and it looked pretty nice so I got sucked in.
Pros: I am NW50 and the Sheer Espresso in this was a good match. It went on almost too yellowish but then dried down to a nice, matte finish. The product also contains (though in miniscule amounts, probably) some nice peptides. The squeeze packaging is great. The product is also very inexpensive, even for a drugstore product.
Cons: HEAVY-feeling and filled with silicones. Why? Why bother making an all-in-one product that feels like vinyl on the skin? There is also no sunscreen. Wore this for just a few days. After the first day, I felt the under-the-skin bumps growing. I gave it another few days and this is just a no-go. Time to swap.

I was pleased to see some of the Cover Girl Queen Collection show up at a Walgreen’s in my culturally neglected city. New and notable is this CC Cream. Because warm weather is on the way — it’s already arrived here, actually — I thought that this would be a good alternative to a full fledged foundation. I chose Golden Honey, as I am MAC NC44. The color match is pretty good. I immediately noted, however, that on me it comes off a little like I’ve been in the sun a bit. It’s not a *bad* look, overall and my skin looked healthy. This stuff does have the tendency to transfer and I also don’t like the fact that it went a bit shiny on me. I have combination skin and normally only have to pull out my compact blot powder once or twice during the day, just for my T-zone, but this gave me more shine than just in that area. It’s not a bad product, I’m sure that some will love it. I will pass next time, however.
