   I had used this RMK powder foundation for 1-2 years. I liked it initially because the coverage was really good – I would rate it medium-full coverage. I have freckles and sometimes pimples, and with this foundation I was happy without even applying any concealer. Unfortunately as time passed I realised my skin has become drier and usually the foundation cracked later in the day. I used to blame myself for not moisturising enough before makeup, but even on days when I moisturised as much as possible the foundation would still crack a little into the afternoon. I have bought 2-3 refills of the foundation when I was in love with it and thought I would stick to it forever. Now I have to give them all away and switch to other liquid type foundation.

   By reading all the reviews I noticed that people who gave this a 5 star were those from the 19-24 age group (which I used to be when I loved this foundation!!!), and people above that age range usually found it too dry. I guess this foundation is really just for girls with still young and bright skin!

   This is S$105 in SG & i used to use 202 for liquid foundation & a friend commented i should be using yellow based instead of pink base – so to try this theory out i got 101.

   I Love the brush of this compact & its packaging is good. however i am too distracted by the face that i look too YELLOW with this powder to judge the product properly. looking yellow at my late 30s aging skin – makes me look a whole lot OLDER & DULLER. NOT pretty at all. – who uses makeup to look uglier – perhaps in plays.

   The powder foundations in general for RMK seem to oxidise a little more than the cream pancake foundations & the foundation that i experienced least oxidation is the liquid foundation.

   The liquid foundation is a clear winner for me – i turned to the compact as i was hoping for something easier to use.

   if i ever go back to RMK – it will only be the liquid foundations. the liquid foundation is a HG item for me in shade 202.

   I expected so much more since this is HE. Nothing special here – it is a yellow-toned powder foundation which can look heavy if overapplied.

   I liked the colour range – I have pale pink toned skin and most ranges just don’t cut it, but they have a yellow toned and a pink toned range.

   That said, I didn’t like the product with long term use. I think it’s quite drying on the skin, and worse, I think it’s the culprit behind my blocked pores. I also don’t like the way it looks on my skin, sort of false looking. There are better powder foundations out there for me I think – back to my trusty Body Shop in shade 3 unless I find anything better!

   I’ve been using this for one year now. Medium coverage. A bit dry on skin so make sure to moisturize well before applying (or is it just my combo dry skin? Anyhow, as w any other foundation, a perfectly hydrated face makes a good base). I use RMK Make up Base (regular one, not creamy or mat) underneath this powder foundation, which helps create a lasting, clean finish. This foundation is my favorite among compact ones so far (I’ve tried Lunasol and Shiseido) because it looks “naturally made-up.” The color match is perfect for my Asian skin. I use 102. They have a range of other colors, including in the 201, 202, etc. line for sallow complexions. Try RMK. Their products are top-notch quality. I can be sure that Rumiko put her heart and soul into creating these beauties.

   I live in the US but during my recent trip to Asia, my friends were raving about this brand. Ive been using Chanel for years, but my friend swore by this…its really difficult to purchase.. only certain countries sell it. I had to look for someone in Hong Kong to buy it for me. I would have to say I am very very pleased with it. For me, it didnt break me out at all and the color is perfect for asian skin. I got the 102 color. Im very happy with it.

   Even though the colour is beautiful(for asian skin tone)& the coverage is great with lasting power it somehow broke me out. I bought this b’cos I saw it was the best powder foundation in some asian magazine but I could use only a few times & had to give it away….I knew I had acne-prone skin but didn’t know I was sensitive too.

   This is definately a great powder foundation, the best one I’ve used compare to others. I’ve also used powder foundation from shishedo,chanel,lancome, clinique.
   RMK powder foundation comes in a package box and you can buy your refills. It is alitt pricy, but with the good and nature conerage, it’s worth it, and it’s all you need. It also contains SPF in it.

   I bought this totally on impulse when my friend who’s addicted to base from Japanese lines pulled me along to browse. I’ve heard that this was supposedly a good one and well, it truly didn’t disppoint.

   It’s rather expensive tho as compared to my MAC studiofix (SGD $38). RMK’s foundation costs $46 and the compact case costs $33. Apart from the price, it’s a pretty good investment for your canvas. I love the fact that it comes with SPF 25 and the texture is very light and smooth.

   This does not feel as dry as my other 2 way cake (studiofix) and moreover, my skin (combi-oily) didn’t feel as oily after a few hours. Just note that I used a makeup base (also from RMK) under the foundation.

   This is good for those who want a smooth and sheer coverage. Very natural looking and the shades do suit Asian skin tones well.
