I have never had a single bad thing to say about bh cosmetics, so this will be a first. I bought this foundation on one of their sales and was so excited to try it out. The packaging is nice. The foundation comes out thick (it looks identical to the Milani Conceal + Perfect), but once applied it turns very sheer with little to no coverage. It took two layers to get any kind of color correction and even then you could clearly see the redness on my face. The foundation is very dewy to almost wet looking. It never dried down. I ended up setting it with powder but it didn’t do anything for the staying power. Within the hour, it was running. I’ve heard so many good reviews of this foundation so I’m almost wondering if I got a bad batch? I won’t be buying it again.

It cones in a great size and pretty glass bottle. Creamy heavy texture but does not feel that heavy on the skin. Light coverage buildable to a medium one. Wide shade range but often out of stock. I did not like so much because it just felt like if you want a good coverage you have got to set it with a powder or it will tingle all day and run around. You loose the sheer finish. I was not impressed and will not buy again but do not think it is bad per se

I didn’t like this and I love BH. I just use this to darken foundations if I have too. There’s barley and coverage. I’d say this good for moms who want to buy there daughters starting out makeup because the product looks nice at least. And comes with a pump.

worst foundation ever. oxidises and gives no coverage. makes your face look like an oil slick. the shade range is horrible along with the formula. i dont know who ever thought this was good enough to sell as “foundation” has lost their marbles. such a shame the company does make good eyeshadows at least, anything else is garbage.

I’m glad I only spent $4.50 on this. By light olive they mean light peach. This has a unique undertone. It’s not pink or beige. It’s definitely not yellow or olive and it has no green undertones. It’s peach. For reference, I’m warm sand in Bobbi Brown intensive skin serum foundation, 213 in koh gen doh aqua, tarte 12 hr Amazonian clay light-medium sand, MUFE Y245(120), Almay TLC buff, Nars sheer glow Ceylan, and flower cosmetics L3 and L4. This foundation does not match me whatsoever. The consistency of this is thick but blends well with a damp sponge. Personally, the coverage is light-medium. Though I prefer my cosmetics to not have fragrance, the fragrance of this is lovely. It smells like roses or rosewater. When I first opened this foundation I thought I had received the wrong shade. If you are in search of a nice light olive foundation, look elsewhere!

To start I am NC20 with olive undertones and Buff in Revlon colorstay.
I thought I’d try this foundation, in light olive, because it was recommended to me. That it’d match. Well it doesn’t. It’s more for NC25. It’s too dark for me.
I took off lippies for the packaging because I had problems with mine pumping out the foundation. As if the pump could to any time and you’ll be stuck dumping it out.
The consistency of the foundation was off to me. It’s very liquidy and hard to build coverage.
While this doesn’t get cakey on me as much as other foundations. I won’t be re-buying it.
Maybe I got a dud? I dunno but I really dislike this one. It’s too pricey for what it is. I left my review at a 2 because I could see why people would like it. But if you need any sort of coverage this isn’t for you.

I ordered this in the lightest shade available and it was still too dark for me. For reference I’m an Nw13 currently. Upon application I could tell it was to dark and it even oxidized after application making it even darker.
The smell with this foundation is terrible. Very perfumey and chemically. After I would take this off, my face would be red and irritated. It was sensitive to the touch to.
I did like that it came with a pump bottle but the amount you get is ridiculous. .375 oz. I went through this bottle in a month and I didn’t even use it everyday. I think I got this on sale for 3 dollars with 3 dollar shipping. So I paid about 6 bucks for this. Which is reasonable, but the way you go through this it would end up costing you just as much as a longer lasting HE foundation.
Color selection is terrible. Very limited selection.
I must say that bh shipping is phenomenal in my experience it took 3 days! I’m very impressed with that but unfortunately the foundation wasn’t a hit for me.

This foundation reminds me of a BB cream with heavier buildable coverage. This is perfect for me because I have dry skin. I was looking for a foundation that looked dewy on the skin and not cakey! I finally found it! Would have loved if it had SPF in it, but I use a primer with SPF anyways so it’s no biggie. I love that it’s in a glass bottle and has a pump! Big plus. The color matched me perfect. I got “Light Olive” I am a W3 in True Match for reference. Love that they have colors for us Olive toned girls!

It has a pump!! Ooh I am always excited when a product has good (& functional!!) packaging although I kind of don’t like glass bottles coz I’m worried about it breaking. Picking a shade is not an exact science but I was able to guestimate my shade (also in BH Concealer, ELF fdtn & Estée Lauder Double Wear all right on, I am getting good at making an educated guess). This is gr8 for oily skin, is medium buildable coverage & does not oxidize badly. It hasn’t caused me to break out & is very affordable I think iirc it was about USD$5 & arrived fast free shipping. I hate having to order $50 to get free shipping but it’s easily accumulated in ur shopping basket. U can get a ton or merchandise for $50 thou! I will order another bottle when I happen to make another BH order but I’m gonna wait til I have $50 to spend & new stuff comes out coz I got quite a few of BH products & it chaps my hide to pay for shipping $8 for a $5 item. Plus it’s more fun to wait til u can have a big haul! 🙂

This foundation is very nice, and price wise there is almost always a sale on BH Cosmetics’ website. I got two bottles for 2.95 each, and with shipping and tax included, it came up to 13.95. I got the shades Hazelnut and Golden Beige, both of which blend into my skin smoothly and nicely. For reference, I am a shade 350 in Fit Me foundation.
The smell is reminiscent of an older perfume, but it’s not as gross or as heavy as most foundation scents can be. It blends nicely with a brush or fingers, and has a thick, creamy texture. The coverage can be sheer to begin with (but is very buildable), a bit darker than a bb cream, and oxidizes, so do not be alarmed if the shade looks a bit orangey straight out of the pump. (Yes, it has a pump. A plus for hygiene!)
My only gripes on this foundation is that it does not have sunscreen, and I’m a bit scared of possessing the frosted glass bottles.
