Fairly thrilled with this structure. It is really extremely pigmented so you don’t require a lot of item to get good protection, I truly similar to this because you do not seem like you have actually got loads of structure on. It creates an extremely perfect look. I would certainly claim the coating is very matte, not glowing. Although it’s great that it makes you look perfect, because it’s so matte I assume my face looked a bit flat. Strangely it appeared some completely dry locations that I really did not even understand I had as well as have never ever been accentuated by various other structures prior to! However I’m sure I can function about this by utilizing moisturiser/primer on those locations. I would define my skin kind as typical to slightly oily so I’m unsure how this structure would certainly service dry skin kinds. The concern I have with Nars foundations is that I discover it really difficult to discover an excellent colour for my fair, neutral skin tone. General I think this is one for evenings out or a lengthy day at an occasion, or if you’re having a poor skin duration, I probably wouldn’t wear it for basic daily usage.

I tried numerous times with numerous different means to use this structure. Fingers, sponges, brush; guide, without primer. Nothing can make this structure STAY on my skin. I have actually dry skin as well as including powder to make it stay is not for me. Likewise it beats the function of a glowy, fresh structure. Pass.

I was seeking a structure with a bit more protection for weekend days/nights out so obtained a sample of this in a few tones (my day-to-day structure as well as HG is MAC face as well as body). It does give complete insurance coverage which is really a little bit way too much for me – I was seeking something a bit extra medium. It offers fairly a mask impact which I despise as well as transfers like insane! It also gets uneven actually quick. It highlighted dry patches and lines on my face I have never ever seen before and also I’m only 26. Considering there is no SPF in it, it does not photo very well either. I’m certainly happy I didn’t purchase a full container of it. Shade arrays are fairly excellent however all lean also pink/yellow for me, I required something much more on the off-white side.

I finally caved in and ordered this. This foundation makes me look very glam and radiant, but after a short while, it starts to separate and melt off my face. I have normal skin so this should not be a problem. Also, it is almost impossible to find a real neutral shade, as most shade lean very yellow. This was a big MEH.

I bought this because I love NARS Sheer Glow but wanted something more longwear and less shiny on my oily forehead. Well it achieved those two goals but made my skin look so lifeless and dry even when applied with a damp beauty blender. Radiant it was not! I have a typical combination skin – oily T zone and dry cheeks so I feel like I can speak about both skin types with some degree of confidence. I feel that this would work well for an oily skin, don’t let the word “radiant” put you off as it is more matte than dewy. But for dry-skinned people, I would stay away as this completely dried out my cheeks and clung to dry patches i didn’t know I had! Also a total fail for combination skin although if you have combination/oily skin you may be able to get away with this.

***If Grammar, Capitalization and Punctuation are important to you: THIS IS NOT THE REVIEW FOR YOU***
I own this multiples of this foundation. My almost year round shade is Aruba. The shade that I mix in when I find that I’m getting a bit lighter is Stromboli. It’s the perfect undertone (olivey yellow) and light enough that I see the shade change but the undertone remains the same. This is a foundation that I can wear without a primer and still get at least 6hr wear, with some blotting in the Tzone. In the spring I can do some targeted priming and not powder. In the Summer, I tend to not wear foundation unless I have an indoor nighttime thing, but when i do i wear this along with copious amounts of powder and setting spray.
I think that it is super important to get the CORRECT COLOR. I find that a shade too light and i look like a crusty cakey mess. A shade too dark and it looks like sludge. It is pricey and may not seem like it’s worth the investment, but I find that I only need a pump or two (3 is pushing it).
The best way to apply for me is to apply from the back of my hand TO THE AREAS THAT NEED THE MOST COVERAGE and then blending with your preferred tool. I like blending with a foundation brush and bouncing a Beauty sponge over it to remove the cakeyness in areas that I prefer to have less product. I don’t like to powder this unless I have to, but find that a matte setting spray is a good alternative.

For the first hour, this foundation feels lightweight, smooths pores, and provides full coverage without looking cakey. And then it becomes a hot mess. Settles into pores, looks patchy, never sets. Too finicky to be worth it. And with so much potential! We were all rooting for you.

Quite impressed with this foundation. It is very highly pigmented so you don’t need a lot of product to get good coverage, I really like this because you don’t feel like you’ve got loads of foundation on. It creates a very flawless look. I would say the finish is very matte, not radiant. Although it’s great that it makes you look flawless, because it’s so matte I think my face looked a bit flat. Strangely it showed up some dry areas that I didn’t even know I had and have never been accentuated by other foundations before! But I’m sure I could work around this by using moisturiser/primer on those areas. I would describe my skin type as normal to slightly oily so I’m not sure how this foundation would work on dry skin types. The issue I have with Nars foundations is that I find it very difficult to find a perfect colour for my fair, neutral skin tone. Overall I think this is one for nights out or a long day at an event, or if you’re having a bad skin period, I probably wouldn’t wear it for general everyday use.

I tried several times with various different ways to use this foundation. Fingers, sponges, brush; primer, without primer. Nothing can make this foundation STAY on my skin. I’ve dry skin and adding powder to make it stay is not for me. Also it defeats the purpose of a glowy, dewy foundation. Pass.

I was looking for a foundation with a bit more coverage for weekend days/nights out so got a sample of this in a few shades (my everyday foundation and HG is MAC face and body). It does give full coverage which is actually a bit too much for me – I was looking for something a bit more medium. It gives quite a mask effect which I hate and transfers like crazy! It also gets patchy really fast. It highlighted dry patches and lines on my face I have never seen before and I’m only 26. Considering there is no SPF in it, it doesn’t photograph very well either. I’m definitely glad I didn’t purchase a full bottle of it. Shade ranges are quite good but all lean too pink/yellow for me, I needed something more on the beige side.

I thought the skin match for NARS radiant Longwear foundation was excellent. It’s the wear time that stinks. In about three hours, it was separating and getting patchy around my nose, forehead and chin. I tried every way to make this work with the same results. Since I am determined not to waste this product, I now mix it with my moisturizer for lightweight coverage and use a concealer for my trouble areas.

Skin: Normal, sometimes combo-oily. NC20 with saturated cool yellow almost olive undertone.
PROS:
1. Really decent medium to full coverage. One pump with this foundation is very little, but I find it more than enough to cover my entire face and get medium coverage. (I use fingers which doesn’t soke up any product)
2. Easy to blend with fingers. Spreads very far.
3. Nice satin skin-like finish.
4. Doesn’t transfer if you use one pump.
5. Doesn’t separate when oil comes through.
CONS:
1. Not as longwearing as other Nars foundation for my skin type.
2. Can’t find my shade therefore wouldn’t repurchase. Nars is known for their very yellow shades. But actually I couldn’t find a single shade in my depth that’s yellow enough. Deauville is the exact depth but too muted and Fiji is too orangey, others are too peachy…..Wish they had Ceylan in this formula.

I have combo skin with dry around my mouth and on cheeks. And I find that this foundation applies best with fingers where you want the most coverage and blends seamlessly with a sponge. I wouldn’t say it’s the most long lasting foundation, but it wears beautifully. It’s a great mixing foundation to retain a skin like finish throughout the day.
My fave mixes are with the Sheer Glow and my more Matte foundations. While I do get oily in the tzone, I can blot and go about the rest of my day. And if photographs beautifully!
It is prone to transfer, so this isn’t something I bring too far down my neck with certain shirts. Also, I find that a pump or two is enough for me. If you use any more then you’re never gonna have a set face. Powder turns to mud on skin and as the day wear it gets worse.
