I bought this for summer, when I want a matte finish that is not too heavy or drying. I am pretty satisfied with it: while the finish is not as matte as I would like, it`s still nice enough and stays put with a layer of powder. Lasting power on my chin, the oiliest part of my face, is not the best, but touch-ups are easy enough. The finish is perfect for summer: looks like skin, doesn`t cling to patches, and my skin feels like it can breathe. There is no fragrance to this, which is just fine with me. The compact is pretty cute, though a little bulky, because the top has an extra rotating mirror: at first I was a little annoyed with it (who needs two mirrors in one compact?!), but as I am traveling around Southeast Asia and I don`t want to carry an extra makeup bag with me everywhere, I just toss this compact and lipstick in my bag, and I`ve been finding it handy to just reapply my lipstick without opening my cushion everytime. It`s not the cheapest, but it comes with a refill, so for summer, and for travel, this is perfect.
