It works very well for me. I like how easy it is to blend and i just need build up a little more to cover my dark spots. It’s perfect for quick morning makeup. I do get compliments on how good my skin looks when I wear this powder.
However I don’t recommend this for those with wrinkles and big pores, because it does accentuate them. I always use primer beforehand which helps.

This mineral foundation has lasted me for 6 years already. I get compliments on how well my skin looks. But I do agree with the other reviewers: It’s pricey and the sales people can be rude and pushy. I use a primer before applying this foundation and concealer to hide some acne scars. Maybe the ingredients have changed but there is very few pigments used: mica, sericite, black iron oxide, red iron oxide, and yellow iron oxide. I don’t like the shiny finish so I apply a setting powder. You can build up the coverage if you want. I don’t want to go up to the kiosk again because the last time I went, I only wanted a mineral foundation brush and they insisted I buy this overpriced brush set. I’m glad I didn’t buy the brush set because the current brush I have from them is ok, it’s hairs fall out a lot though. I am trying to find another mineral foundation with not a lot of ingredients that provides a matte finish. If anyone knows a good brand, let me know.

I have been using this product over 8 years. I have extremely sensitive skin and I am allergic to do much stuff. The price is ridiculous but I find it in eBay and have been buying it from the same seller since my first purchase from a mall out of state. I get the best compliments on my makeup. I always had acne before using it and now I do not have breakouts. This product is safe enough to eat though I don’t recommend it but it is all natural. Only 7 ingredients and will not clog pores. Pretty sweat resistant too. The colors available are great too. I have a lot of redness in my skin that over the counter makeup doesn’t calm down but this stuff does. Also No smell!!! I’m very sensitive to perfume smells and this is odorless. It can be a bit messy and you hate a waste any but we’ll worth it. I just wish it was easier to get. No one in my area sells it or wears it.. I’m in the process of ordering the ingredients and making my own. I’ve tried hate minerals and there is no comparison!

This product is horrible spent $180 on the product that caused my face to breakout in a rash from forehead to chin! When I went back for a refund was told they couldn’t do it and it wasn’t their problem! For the price I spent to feel beautiful I am greatly disappointed and even more disappointed with the customer service I had! It was at the Colorado mills mall kiosk I will never go back and I it’s everyone to not risk their skin being ruined!!!!!!

The staff was super amazing, she treated me like a princess, showed me every color possible and gave me to try the makeup!
Id totally buy this product because it makes my face feel clean, fresh, and of course young, and! It does not feel like a mask. I used the powder conciler and it was just perfect, it’s amazing what u can do with minerals, I totally enjoyed watching everything be made into different substances, it’s just wow.

This foundation was applied to my face by a mall salesperson; this seems to be the way most reviewers have acquired theirs. The sales pitch was about how liquid foundation is bad, doesn’t last and how this one has 15-hour staying power and organic ingredients. Not my experience but all right, it’s not my job to educate salespeople. The lady herself was wearing the Micabella foundation and well, look, okay, I understand that some people prefer to look like they are wearing lots of foundation, maybe the lady liked her cakeface but I’m not one of them — I like my foundation to look as much like skin as possible. Light coverage is not enough for me on most days, heavy gets too cakey and separates on my oily skin no matter what I do so I usually roll with medium.
This stuff does not look like skin. It has that sheen characteristic to most mineral foundations. I’m saying ‘most’ because there are those that don’t. Not this one. This is shine central. I hate that sheen. It looked dreadful in overhead natural light. Just…gahhhh. Mask-like, emphasizing all pores and little bumps that I can’t even normally see. The two shades that were applied to my face were both too dark and cakey. Maybe the salespeople are taught that way, I don’t know. Watch out. Foundation should match your neck and chest, you may have too much redness or discoloration in your face so check all those three areas. I think the shades matched my tanned arms.
I rubbed off most of the foundation when I got back to work — much better. I know what happens to foundations like this after an hour on my oily skin. They separate and somehow manage to look even worse. I didn’t want to wait for that to happen.
Meow Cosmetics makes matte mineral powder foundations. None of this sheen. I have one in my rotation and I’ll never use a shiny mineral foundation again because it looks unnatural. If you like that shiny look, you’ll like this one. If you prefer a foundation that looks like skin, you’ll hate it. It may work in a very light layer under matte powder but why bother with that? Just buy a different foundation.
That said, Micabella’s pigments are great. As great as all mineral pigments. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I’d say sand from my backyard is better than this product. Outrageously expensive. Rude sales people who don’t know the difference between pimples and acne. It doesn’t stay on. It sits in the crevices and fine lines, lines you didn’t even know existed on your skin.

To start off, This product is just BAD. it’s a all natural mineral powder foundation that’s suppose to give the skin a velvety soft natural look … Biggest lie ever. This foundation tends to set on fine lines & separate & cake up after only an hour. By the end of the day the entire foundation is off your face & this does not look natural! a natural face is not suppose to look all nasty & cakey. I’ve tried many brushes to try & make this foundation work but it just doesn’t so I decided to just throw it away. & for the price of it!?! yeah right! 60$ USA for this piece of crap is NOT WORTH IT. invest your money on another foundation that’ll actually work like from MAC, sephora, bobby brown, Chanel, etc. But I guess that’s what I get for actually listening to the salesmen & buying this cheap product, those people only want money, they don’t actually care for what you put on your face. I’ve learned my lesson, this is the first & last time I ever buy from a unknown brand. So in all ~
• This foundation has NO staying power.
• Gets cakey after an hour & starts to separate.
• Need TOO MUCH product to even cover a little blemish & makes you look really ashy.
• Too pricey.
would I buy this again? NO!

I’m an nc15 in the summer and bought this in the honey shade, in the shop this looked beautiful my skin looked like it had a new lease of life, I instantly bought it and was very excited UNTIL I saw myself by chance in a mirror going home and it looked like a shimmery glittery patchy mess! I found after that with correct preparation it looks ok I have to moisturise and exfoliate before I apply it- it creases in my eyes and makes me look much older than I am . There are better mineral foundations out these in my opinion.

This product has good coverage but it broke me out like no other. The mall working there has been trying to talk me into using it ever since I began working in the same mall. I finally gave in and the first day I wore it I was surprised and loved it. I woke up with a few small bumps in the morning (after properly removing makeup and cleansing the night before) but I figured that was just normal because I do tend to have acne prone skin. I used it a second day and over the course of the DAY I broke out horribly bad! I instantly returned it that day and was given a hair serum and conditioner in return since I couldn’t get my money back. I looked up all the ingredients to see which one set my skin off and it turns out to be mica. This company (Micabella) sells to acne prone women daily and claim that this is “GOOD” for your skin but after reading about mica I realized I made a terrible decision. Never again. If you are acne prone stay away from anything with MICA!!!
