This is the best foundation I’ve ever used. The higher level of pigment is amazing. It’s wax based and doesn’t oxidise. The coverage is buildable and makes your skin look amazing. I always ensure my skin is well exfoliated and moisturised before I apply any makeup. I use a primer spray. Then I use a beauty blender to apply the foundation until I have the right level of coverage. I set with a loose translucent powder and then use a setting spray. People have constantly been complimenting me on my skin since I started using this. The only downside is that it only lasts about 6 weeks with daily usage
I have dry skin and it stays smooth and looking perfect all day.

For a professional grade makeup I love that they also care for the user of product not just the results. I have combination skin and I love this makeup, at first I thought it was weird as I’ve only ever used liquid or mousse foundations but I love this now. My new go to foundation.

I kinda hated this. Didn’t cover good and hard to cover evenly. Felt drying.

I recently purchased the Botanical foundation, concealer( supposedly waterproof) along with the base primer spray and oil slick setting spray…at first it all looked good and some what natural but the claimed 50% pigment is BS…it barely covers acne redness if its large…and if you have mostly oily and partly dry around nose, this foundation & concealer does not last all day and creases around nose & chin area but looks decent under eyes, forehead and cheeks…not worth the money…I have used Revlon Colorstay since I was 19 and now I’m 38 and its better than limelight as far as coverage and lasts longer.

The ingredients in Lime Light Foundation is TOXIC. Botanical based claim is misleading. Parabens- breast cancer causing. BHT known to cause harm to the liver. Not to mention the dyes. ???? Scary & so misleading.

I have dry acne prone skin, and this is the first foundation that does great. In fact, my acne went down a lot after using it. Covers light or full, and lasts even through NC humidity. While it seems pricy, it’s saved me money in that I have not had to buy foundation for a year. I was used to drugstore brands I ran out of every few months.
My only complaint is the company is horrible at shipping and back orders… Absolutely horrible. So if you get low, go ahead and order. Other wise it’ll be out of order for months. And when you do order, there’s no lower cart price free shipping and it takes weeks.
I truly like it to put up with that, but want others to be aware.

I LOVE this foundation. It is full coverage and it lasts all day long. So glad I found it

This is the best foundation I’ve ever used. The color is spot on and lasts forever.

This is a wax based foundation, so not exactly a creme or powder. I doesn’t feel like wax, instead if feels very light and really not different from other foundations, so don’t let the “wax” part scare you off. It doesn’t contain parabens or SLS, and isn’t tested on animals and it’s made in the US, so that part really makes me feel “good” about using it.
It’s buildable foundation, but i would say medium coverage. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, almost like nothing at all. It looks like real skin.
Beware…There is a learning curve to using it. It looks best for me when applied over primer with a damp/almost wet beauty blender. Without a primer, It tends to look chalky later in the day for me. I have tried using a brush and my fingers to apply it, both work, but blender seems to be best. Honestly it looked pretty bad the first day and it took me about a week of trying it differently to appreciate it. So it’s not instantly wonderful.
I have rosacea and sensitive skin and this works beautifully without any irritation! It does a pretty good job of covering up too. It doesn’t accentuate my pores or oxidize. So that’s a bonus. I don’t have the limelight pressed powder to finish it, and I hear that’s amazing, but this foundation is pretty good without it.
It lasts all day if you don’t rub it. If perhaps you fall asleep forgetting to wash it off, you will still look pretty good in the AM:)
It’s not perfect, I don’t wind up flawless, perhaps that just my lack of expertise, and I definitely lack expertise. My HG foundation was the discontinued MUFE face and body. To be honest this is quite similar in coverage, but it’s not my HG. It’s still really great and I will buy it again, until I find my HG.
There are some quizzes to get a color match and they worked well for me. Olive 1 was a great match.
