I swatched this in store and it looked amazing on the back of my hand. I hmmed and hawed about it then caved.
The employee warned me about the smell. Now I’m not sensitive to smells or even usually care. But this smells like something dying. That or I got an expired product some how.
Besides the smell I could not get this to work for me. I’m 33 and have dry skin. This showed off texture horribly and gave me poka dot pores. It sank and showed off every single pore I have. It made my dry skin look dryer than I’ve ever had a matte foundation make it look.
I guess if you don’t mind smelling death and have fairly smooth skin that’s normal or oily. This will work for you.

UPDATE: I wanted to come back and update my rating with this product. I’m giving it 4 lippies now instead of 2. After experimenting with the application, I started to really like this product. For me, there was a learning curve with this tint. It sounds ridiculous because I’ve been regularly using makeup for years. I spray a dewy makeup fixer on my face before application. I blended the tint with my fingers and then a light dusting of setting powder under the eyes, on my nose, and chin. Then I use a setting spray all over the face. This seemed to work well for me versus the first time I applied with a beauty blender. After a few minutes, it seemed to meld and the texture of my face does not stand out as much. It aslo had a nice glow like the product promises and the coverage was okay. Enough to cover some redness and general uneven tone. If you need full coverage, you probably will not be satisfied with this. Now that I’ve been able to test the staying power throughout the day, I can say it does stay on well and washes off easy. I like this product now that I’ve figured out how best to use it. For an everyday product, this stuff is decently priced compared to the $40 I usually spend on a foundation.

This didn’t work for me. I went with a shade slightly lighter than I need because I noticed after walking around the store, it started to oxidize on the back of my hand. I washed my face and applied my usual skincare routine. Coming out of the tube this stuff is somewhat thick and almost gel-like. It definitely does not blend as well as a liquid foundation. There wasn’t fluidity that you would expect from a skin tint. I applied it with a beauty blender and it felt like I was smearing thick paint on my face. I wear light to medium coverage foundations and I didn’t find much coverage with this skin tint which is odd considering its consistency. It’s supposed to make you look bright and natural, but this accentuated every bump and pore. Plus, I looked kind of dull, not like a light. I can’t speak to the lasting power or how this wears through the day because I didn’t leave it on long enough to experiment. It just doesn’t work for me which is a bummer because I really wanted to love it. Also, the price point is high for the market this is aimed at.

I saw recently that Millie Bobby Brown has released a new Makeup and Skincare line which is cruelty free and created without chemicals, so thought I’d purchase a few products to test out.
Because it’s created by her, I knew it was bound to be a hit and sell out pretty fast!
I have very sensitive skin, so anything that contains natural ingredients and no chemicals is a god send for me and pretty hard to find on the market.
The price is quite high on the drugstore market, and so I was hoping that it would work wonders because of this. You can purchase them from Boots in the UK, and Ulta in the US.
The Like A Light Skin Tint is one of their bestsellers and it had a few claims that I like the sound of, and the fact that it’s formulate with Skin loving ingredients Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Squalene, and Jojoba Oil shows that it is great for the skin. It’s sort of like Skincare in your makeup. Because this is a Skin Tint, I knew that it was probably light coverage, and wasn’t sure if it would last on my Skin. I have oily-combination Skin with a very oily t-zone and hardly anything stays out during the day!
When I applied this, I knew I loved it straight away! The coverage was light, but could be built up to medium (very easily). It was none cakey, the shade matched me perfectly, it felt so light on the skin and the was no fragrance! I love when makeup either has no fragrance or smells like Skincare because you don’t feel as though you’re putting anything harsh on your skin.
The price point is pretty up there for a Skin Tint and is £20, but for me it worked really well. They have around 20 shades and they are all lettered with their shade range (F-D) and they cater for fair to very deep skin tones which I love! I chose shade LM050 because it was light-Medium with a yellow undertone (which is the shades I always pick).
I’ve been testing this for the last 1-2 weeks and my skin feels so good. My skin hasn’t broken out, and it feels so nice and refreshed during the day. When my skin’s bad I always wear full coverage because I get self conscious, but this formula is so good I think I’ll be wearing it all the time. I’ve used this for work and had it on for over 10 hours and it still looks really good! I didn’t get oily, and my skin just looks healthy.
I’ll definitley be repurchasing this again!

– evens skin tone and covers redness well
– easily buildable
CONS
– price is quite expensive for drugstore and for it being aimed at teens.
