I really like this product. I use it on those mornings where I’m running too late for the usual routine.
The lightest shade is perfect for my fair skin (NC 10) and I can quickly smooth this on without caking. It lasts just as well throughout the day as one of my regular foundations, nothing spectacular / terrible. Doesn’t aggravate my delicate skin, or break me out.
I don’t think it’ll last particularly long, but then do any cream to powder products? To me, they’re definitely not the most economical way to purchase foundation. This has a fair price point, and Avon seems to have frequent offers.
Nice simple packaging that hasn’t sprung open in my handbag, with a good mirror. The compact is possibly a little larger than it needs to be as the sponge compartment is quite large, but that’s me being picky.
I’d definitely keep one of these around, and have purchased back ups.

Bad. It looks cakey no matter the way of application. I managed to make it look decent by applying it with a wet flat foundation brush but in general it is not impressive. I was excited to get it when I saw the pixiwoos using it but it is not for me.

I bought this foundation for $8 and I absolutely love it. This is by far one of the best foundations I have ever used. I usually only use liquid foundations because I love the coverage that it gives along with the finish, but I figured I would try a cream foundation and I’m glad I did.
I bought one creme foundation before from Black Opal and I’m sure I would’ve loved it, but I accidentally bought it a shade too light for my skin so I wasn’t able to use it – which was very disappointing. So this was my first real cream foundation.
Packaging – While some people don’t like the square packaging, I love it. I find that it is a nice sleek look and fits well in a purse or makeup bag. The mirror is a nice size and I like the little compartment on the bottom for the sponge.
Product – The foundation itself is wonderful. I do not use the sponge it comes with to apply it because I don’t think the application would be as nice as opposed to using it with a brush. It has a nice creamy consistency that is easy to spread and very soft. I use the color “Spiced Almond” since I have a darker complexion. It is quite difficult to find a color that matches my skin tone because it’s medium brown and most colors range from either very light to very dark and no in between. Well Avon’s got it right, they came out with a perfect color that matches my skin tone exactly.
Application – The application is smooth and it is very easy to apply. I use a flat foundation brush to apply the foundation on my skin and a big foundation brush with tightly packed bristles to blend it out and provide even coverage all over my face. It spreads very easily and covers well. I would say this is a light to medium coverage foundation. I apply it twice to build it to medium coverage.I do not like to use the sponge because I do not like to contaminate the foundation my dipping a used sponge in there. I only use the sponge if absolutely necessary for touch ups, but I haven’t needed a touch up yet. I always buy a pack of sponges and use them only once before throwing them away, I never reuse a sponge. After I apply this foundation, I go over it with powder. It’s just my personal preference. This would probably work just as well with no powder over it either.
Staying Power – This foundation stays on for a very long time. I applied it at 7:30am and it is now 6pm and I have not needed to do a touch up or anything. Most foundations usually make my skin look oily within a few hours (even though my skin isn’t oily) and they usually set into my fine lines in my face…this doesn’t do that. My face doesn’t feel oily or dry at all and my face looks so smooth and flawless after wearing it all day.
Price – The price is great. It usually retails for $11 but I got it for $8. The amount of product that comes in it is good enough, I can’t complain about it for that price and the quality.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this product to a friend and buy it for myself again. It is my HG foundation. I hope this doesn’t get discontinued and stays on the shelves forever.

Bought this in Porcelain for 5 bucks out of the promo mag to try it out. I’ve tried a few cream to powder compact foundations in the past and some seem to go on heavy and cakey. I have oily skin, so the formula is ideal for me but often the coverage is too much. This formula is amazingly light! It blends seamlessly and dries to a wonderful sheer finish that still manages to even my skin tone. It doesn’t cake or fade throughout the day or settle into my laugh lines nor does it darken on my skin when it mixes with the oil on my face, in fact, I have noticed that I dont have to blot or touch up with powder as much throughout the day while wearing this foundation which is delightful! I cant believe it….but my face looks great.
If you’re looking for lightweight, breathable coverage that evens skin tone nicely, then this is for you, however heavy coverage and using it to layer over blemishes is not what this is for. While I scored it for 5 bucks, the full price of it is worth it, which I believe is still under 10 dollars.
