This. Is. The. BOMB. So thick and creamy!!! And WITHOUT any nasty stuff to clog your pores. It’s almost like a treatment for your skin and I get so excited to put it on every morning. I actually bought this once and returned it because it came out of the pump in chunks and I thought that’s how it was supposed to be; however after a stint of using ELDW that left me with wretched skin, I bought this again and it comes out like perfection and makes my skin soooo hydrated and smooth. Probably more for dryer skin types as it has a lot of moisturizing ingredients. Will always repurchase!!!!!! Plus it’s vegan and cruelty free.

At the time of purchasing this, I am 5 months pregnant and the pregnancy has caused my mild eczema to become moderate and more prominent on my face. I have yet to experience this ‘glow’ as my face is super dry, itchy AND breaking out with cystic acne and white heads. Enter Emani.
I’ve been using this for a week along with a skincare regimen from Avene and so far so good. This has been hydrating, not irritating, enough coverage to get rid of redness and yet it leaves a dewy glow and coverage lasts all day. It does not settle into fine lines, nor does it collect in the plaque/scaly areas on my cheeks. I set this foundation with the the Emani crushed minerals. I actually had someone compliment my skin today which was the first time in a very long time. 1 pump seems to do my face as I just use my (clean) fingers to apply.
The price is $38 Canadian and I purchased it at Rexall. I would probably buy more or the line if the blushes weren’t all the same peachy tan colour (I like plums and pinks, so sue me). I most definitely recommend this line to anyone with sensitive skin or even anyone who is gluten free, environmentally conscious or just doesn’t like to wear a lot of ‘stuff’ on their skin. I’m not sure I would recommend this for oily skins, but normal-dry or combo should be suited just fine. I forgot to add that I have this in Oyster Beige and I’m roughly a MAC NC20.

Great little foundation, and best of all, not tested on animals. I only use cruelty-free products, and this foundation is so good it compares favourable with the Lancome foundations I used to use, only it’s not as heavy and doesn’t clog my pores the way Lancome did. Mine came in a pump tube, which is so convenient and helps avoid spillage or wastage. I use the lightest colour, which just happens to be a perfect match for my skin.
I have very oily skin, but I can wear this foundation comfortably. The finish is soft and slightly dewy but not greasy, and it’s very buildable although I find a thin layer provides all the coverage I need.
The foundation feels good on my skin – like I’m not wearing makeup.
I believe this will be a go-to foundation for many people once they are able to find it. In Canada, Emani is sold at select Rexall pharmacies. It is worth going out of your way to find Emani because you will be pleasantly amazed by the quality of this cruelty-free, Canadian brand.

kay for the winter this foundation is perfect for dry skin. it’s smooth light feeling, very natural feeling. i love how it’s natural ingredients. Does not break me out which is big with me. but for summer it’s to much moisturize on my face. And it looks oily which is why crushed powder is good. But in summer i dont like wearing much on my face so it would be nice to have a liguid that isn’t to moisturizing. overall great winter foundation. will buy again for winter not so much for summer though hope they make a new one for summer

I’m usually a mineral powder wearer, but recently I’ve been kinda sick of the powdery looks that mineral powder gives versus a liquid foundation. I happens to see this foundation at a health food store, it’s made of mineral, but it’s in a liquid form. The consistentcy is a bit runny, the coverage is pretty good (medium to full coverage), the foundation covers almost all of my facial imperfections (old acne marks/scars) without having to use a separate concealer. The finish is a bit dewy, my pores are not as noticeable compare to mineral powders, it’s not shiny, it looks like smooth satiny skin – which is the reason why I love the finish of liquid foundation compare to powder foundation.
The reason I had stop wearing liquid foundation prior is because it’s loaded with chemicals compare to mineral foundation, and I didn’t want to wear something like that everyday on my face. I’m pretty happy to have found this foundations, it’s mineral but in a liquid form, and it doesn’t have alot of chemicals compare to other liquid foundation
Ingredients: Purified Water, Cyclomethicone, Silica, Mica, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Sodium Chloride, Lysine, Amino Acid, Jojoba Oil, Sesame Oil, Safflower Oil, Retinal Palmiate (Vit A), Hyaluronic Acid, Nylon 12, Glyceryl Stearate, Xanthan Gum, Grape Seed Extract.
Other Info: The bottle can either is a pump or squeeze bottle, I got the squeeze one, I’m not sure why they have difference ones. It’s 0.5 oz, and I got it for $21. The shade I got is Oyster Beige (240), it’s not an exact match of my skintone but it’s the closest one, it’s a little bit more pinkish/peachy than I would like since my tone is a bit more yellowish though, but it’s not too much of a difference, just not a perfect color.
BTW, I haven’t wear this foundation that long yet, so I don’t know if it will give me any reaction, I hope it doesn’t since I really like the finish.
