I picked up the color Ivory to Fair #10. It’s really dark for being in the ivory range. It’s basically a BB cream with SPF 20. It leaves a greasy finish. I noticed my skin is more reddish using this than other BB and CC creams that I’ve tried. Not impressed.

I went back and forth after reading the reviews but decided to take the plunge when I saw it was on sale. Picked this up from Giant Eagle for $10.48.
The packaging this great- I love the pump. This has made my skin so much nicer. I was worried it would be too orange but it actually is a nice color.
I tried Urban Decays one and done and didn’t like it as much. I used up the tube, but didn’t repurchase.
Unless things go completely arye, I will be wearing this to school and through the summer. ( I will use my regular foundation- Urban Decay Naked Skin- for more formal events).

I love this tinted moisturizer. I usually wear light coverage foundation and I switched to this because I wanted something more natural. I have combination/oily skin that is dehydrated and this works great for me. I tried the previous version of this (Healthy Skin Enhancer) and this one has a better undertone and a little more coverage as well as setting more matte. The retinol in this product also really works because my skin gets a little dry which isn’t really a bad thing for me because I get shiny. I love the packaging as well because it’s in a pump that doesn’t allow light in it. I usually wear this over my moisturizer with sunscreen and set with maybelline fit me powder and it lasts all day.
This is a tinted moisturizer so don’t expect it to really cover anything, I use it mostly to just blur imperfections or as a base for foundation. Works well with concealers too.

Been searching high and low for a foundation that doesn’t break me out or irritate my skin. I’m 50+ but have oily acne prone skin still. Roscea too. Been loving this and bought a second tube. First, the packaging–convenient. Doesn’t explode during plane trips, hygienic (no dipping dirty fingers or sponges into a jar), easy to throw in your purse or bag (not glass). Second, the feel. Not heavy, but gives good coverage. Not matte, but not shiny. Evens skin tone, but you can layer if need be. Third, sunscreen. I typically use a separate sunscreen every day no matter the season, but sunscreens were clogging my pores and irritating my skin no matter whether natural or chemical. Having sunscreen in the foundation is a plus and no issues. I use shade #20 and it blends beautifully. Not orange, doesn’t turn. Fourth, you can buy at Walmart, drugstore, etc. I’ve spent a lot of money on high-end foundations, but this is a better product and a lot less expensive $8 – $12 depending on where you shop.

*** I’m sorry guys. I have to knock off some points, because this DID end up breaking me out. The second ingredient in this is Isopropyl Isostearate – a sulficant that is EXTREMELY comodegenic. (Isopropyl-anything is bad, bad news.) I won’t buy this again, especially now that I’m learning to read and decode chemical names – there is a lot in here that is not good for sensitive/acne prone skin – and the retinol is NOT the problem; it’s the filler. :/
I bought this for a show, figuring it was cheap and I wouldn’t have to use up my expensive makeup. I actually like it and think it’s a good value! It hasn’t really broken me out, it contains 2 chemical sunscreens that seem to be “safe” for me. (Oxynoxate and Octisalate) The texture is creamy and lightly moisturizing, and the packaging is really nice in the opaque squeeze tube with pump keeps the retinol shelf-stable.(It has retinyl palmitate, retinol and arginine, and olive extract) The finish is VERY matte and coverage is light to medium, but buildable. I have Ivory to Fair 10 which is slightly muddy in color, but very neutral in tone and blends out well. Good job neutrogena!

By Neutrogena, there is a Healthy Skin Enhancer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 and a Healthy Skin Anti-Aging Perfector SPF 20. One is “enhancer” and one is “perfector”. I’ve seen some reviews on the web with comments thinking that these two products are the same thing – they are NOT. One is oil-free, the other is not. One has titanium dioxide as a primary active ingredient, one does not – only as an inactive ingredient. So they are two different products. Both have retinol and SPF.
I am reviewing the perfector.
I decided to try this on a whim because the current BB I am using is a bit more dry on my face than I’d like – and the perfector had decent reviews and was talc-free. I also wanted to try a retinol product, so this was a win-win. I do not wear heavy foundation – I tend to stick to BB creams and tinted moisturizers. I have very sensitive skin.
Leading with that – I wore this one day – and then woke up the very next morning to a dime-sized welt/cystic acne forming in the middle of my forehead. I rarely – rarely – get pimples on my forehead, so I knew immediately it was from this product. I do not switch face products in my routine because I have sensitive skin – and prior to this, I only used the same exact products with no breakouts at all. This was my first breakout (and cystic at that, which sucks) in months – so I knew it was from trying the new product.
If you can use this without breaking out – here are the pros:
– very smooth
– easily accessible in stores
– middle price point
– blends well
– no talc
– powder really takes to it for an appearance of more coverage
Negatives:
– all colors seemed the same nude
– has a sunscreen smell (not that bad though)
– extremely sheer (it literally rubs in and away – needed three times the amount to get some sort of coverage and I’m looking for sheer coverage but not THIS sheer that it’s like I have nothing on – I want something just to even my skin tone.)
It is back to Burt’s Bees BB cream for me, because it’s the only foundation/bb cream I can wear without getting absolutely any skin reaction. I’m not sure what my skin was reacting to – it could have been the retinol – but if I have any sort of instant reaction, I stop the product.
