I’m so mad this is discontinued. Really sucks that Chanel would stop making this. If you really love this you won’t find a good dupe for it. I’ve been trying and have returned more foundation than I ever thought was possible. What is up with these companies getting us hooked then pulling the plug on what they lured us to buy in the first place. I use 20,30, 40 in this and have resorted to diluting with clarins instant smooth to make it go further.

So let me just say that I currently have in my stock pile 6 tubes of this foundation and for a very good reason! It’s discontinued…:-( so while I’d love to go on and on about how wonderful it is because yes it is by far MY MOST ABSOLUTE favorite foundation ever, don’t get yourself hooked. The beauty of this cream/foundation is that it has a hidden Iridescence or luminosity to it that isn’t overbearing or even that obvious. Its just enough tp make you truly glow and the colors 30 and 20 are true to skin color. I use 30 in the summer and 20 in the winter. I’ve even gone as far as to buy 40 and mix it with 20 to make 30 just so I would have more options when searching for it!!! I’m obsessed yes…so if anyone has any recommendations on a replacement product that they think might just be close please feel free to share!! Otherwise, I’ll be scouring the internet for MORE MORE MORE!

This product is very effective on my dry skin. The texture is very light and gentle remarkably for dry skin. I fall in love with it at the first place. Moreover, the shades are natural for every kind of colors. You just have to pick the one that suits you most.

I love this so much, that I bought it in a total of 3 shades to match my skin tone through the year. This is the only product out of the whole BB world that a) does not break me out (I tried almost everything, from supermarket brands like l’oreal/maybeline, through pharmacy like avene/la roche possay, to dior/nars/laura mercier – the last one gave me the worst breakout out of all of them); b) evens out my skin tone; c) makes my skin look healthier; d) actually blends into my olive skin with cool undertones (It blends into the skin perfectly, without leaving a peachy/rusty/”you have something on your face” look).
A little goes a long way as well. And it smells beautifully, albeit very delicately. This product alone gives my skin this healthy glow. It is “buildable” to a certain extent, but for full coverage of problem spots (under the eyes), I use the Chanel corrector, which works really well with this (perfectly blendable).
I have stashed away all other foundations an stick to this one. If I want a more professional look I blend it a bit of bare minerals on top (but not too much since I don’t like the face mask look & I can’t use BM on its own because it doesn’t hydrate).

I’ve tried so many BB, tinted serums and CC creams looking for perfect coverage.
What I use depends on how my skin is. If it’s good I might go for Burberry’s BB cream, if its not so good I’ll go with Chanel for more coverage without a heavy feeling.
With a brush the Chanel Les Beiges spreads thinner, with fingers thicker. It gives a really nice level of coverage with a slight fragrance.
I’d definitely buy again.

This is a relatively new product in the Les Beiges line by Chanel and it is absolutely gorgeous.
This is a very lightweight foundation though, which only comes in 5 colours. You can either wear it alone or mix in with your usual foundation for a nice glowy finish.
I would say that the colour selection is not my favorite, there are not too many shades for a light-to-medium complexion – so you have to keep that in mind. It is a great product if you tend to tan your body and not the face – simply layer this all over and your body and face will match right away.
This fundation gives a very healthy and dewy look to your skin, so if you are a bit more oily – perhaps powdering could be a great idea. Overall I love it and it is a lovely product for everyday or particularly hot months.
