Terrible, terrible, terrible and oh yeah, terrible. I grabbed a sample and thank goodness I didn’t purchase the full size.
I’m dry to combination, “mature” aka OLD and often dehydrated.
This somehow made me oily and parched simultaneously. To my horror every fine (and not so fine) line was on display. It’s scented. Why though?! I never had a dubious experience with EL before except for trying to shade
match a lady with beautiful rich/bronze skin in which all the deeper shades are straight up ORANGE but I digress.
I thought (erroneously) this would perform like my 2 favorites: Zoeva ($25 as opposed to $45+) and Merle Norman (Perfecting; retails for ~ $38.) Not. Even. Close.
I don’t even want to finish the sample. If it works for you more power to ya but holy smokes, not one positive consumer review on MUA says something.

I love this type of packaging, but that is it. I gave this a shot hoping I might like it as much as the crazy expensive Hourglass Skin Tint that I’ve been using. It seemed like it would be a fit for my dry skin. Sadly, this formula began to separate only four hours into my day. It looked awful. I would not recommend this.

I am warm sand in Bobbi Brown, ivory beige in Dbl wear light, and Stone in Clinique’s Even Better. I had to get a lighter color in this foundation because Ivory Beige oxidized on me even though Sales rep said I would be the same color across the board for EL foundations. I’m 2N1 in this. So beware that it does darken.
I got medium to full coverage and it felt moisturizing but highlighted every dry area and pores on my upper cheeks where I had teenage acne. It lasted all day for me but I can’t help but compare it to Doublewear Light. They seem to be so similar that I don’t think I need both. Of course Futurist has a full spectrum sunscreen so that is special. It is fragranced but it’s not overwhelming but know it is there if you’re very sensitive.
Comes in a tube with a pump. It is runny. I tried it with fingers, beauty blender and even a brush which I never use. No matter how I applied it still emphasized my dry areas. Went on really even with all the options.
This just did not do it for me. It didn’t make my skin look better. In fact it looked mask-like at times. Also made my skin a little itchy–I have rosacea so am sensitive. So with all those negatives I will be returning this. I’m disappointed.

I was excited to try this after seeing some great YouTube reviews.
I have 60 plus year old, dry skin and look for a foundation that covers discoloration and doesn’t make my skin look more textured than it is. Also, the foundation must not suck moisture from my skin and make it drier.
This foundation has medium coverage with a radiant finish. It goes on fine and covers okay but doesn’t actually do much of anything to make my skin look better. It almost seems to accentuate the texture instead of camouflaging it.
I do have 3 other foundations that actually seem to smooth out and enhance my complexion – GA Luminous Silk, Koh Gen Do Moisture and Bourjois Healthy Mix.
So while this foundation isn’t terrible, there’s nothing great about it either. I wouldn’t re-purchase it.
