I bought it because I thought Lisa Eldridge mentioned it as a pale foundation (later I found out it was probably a different one, which is now discontinued. I am about NW10- NW13 in Mac, and shade 11 is way too dark for me. Another “porcelain” foundation that is just orange.
If you are darker than me and have normal to dry skin and have 50€ to spare, you’ll like it

So beautiful. It makes your skin look heavenly! I have very dry skin with some red patches, and this evened out my skin. After I powdered and set with makeup spray, this bad boy lasted all day too! I will definitely get a full bottle of this soon!

HOLY GRAIL FOUNDATION!!!!
morbidCaribou3
This is a holy grail foundation! I stumbled on it by accident when buying something else from Bobbi Brown, when the MA said she wanted to give me a sample of a Burberry foundation. Let’s just say I purchased the full product pretty soon after. It is amazing!
If you are looking for a foundation that is sheer to medium and extremely buildable, and if your skin is normal to dry and you don’t like a matte, flat look, and if your skin is in pretty good shape and you just want something to give you a polished glow, then this stuff is it.
If your skin is oily, I don’t recommend it. (I get somewhat frustrated when people post negative reviews about foundations that are clearly not meant for their skin. For instance, I would never post a review for an oil-controlling foundation since my skin leans dry and gets very dry in winter, and such a foundation would never be meant for me and I would have nothing helpful to offer by reviewing it.)
It doesn’t really cover blemishes the way a heavier foundation will, but even so, if you have some blemishes, I do recommend you try it and just spot conceal the trouble areas.
This foundation feels SO comfortable on the skin. It doesn’t make my skin feel tight and dry. I can use it right under my eye area. It makes me look very fresh and glowy without making me look like I have heavy makeup caked on. I think it makes me look a little more youthful. I finish it off with an ever so light dusting of Chantecaille’s loose powder.
Now, as for the “glow,” there are no sparkles (I hate those), no shimmery particles, so don’t fret about that, my fellow sparkle-phobes! It’s just glowy because it makes you look so luminous.
I get very dry skin in the winter, and that makes foundation choices pretty difficult as many of them just seem to suck what little moisture I have right out of my skin, but this foundation is wonderful! It is super comfy but it doesn’t feel all oily.
This is absolutely king when it comes to being buildable. Many foundations sort of set on the skin and you have to apply just the right amount from the get-go and then can’t apply more without it looking awful, but with this stuff you can apply some, let it set, then apply some more. It still looks lovely and blends beautifully. It doesn’t settle into lines or pores or accentuate dry patches.
It glides so easily on the skin. It has actually made my morning makeup routine go faster! It is much quicker and easier to apply than other more fussy foundations. I actually like this better than Chantecaille Future Skin, and that’s saying something!
If you are ghostly pale, then you might find it difficult to get a color match. I am color 11, which is their lightest shade. I’m quite pale in winter, but there are paler people out there.
It’s a little on the pricey side at $52 but not as outrageous as some other even more expensive ones. Considering the quality, $52 is something I’m willing to pay.

This is my holy grail!
I have normal to dry skin, and I am quite fair but their shade 04 suits me very well. No pink shades in it, not too orange either for me.
The packaging is very beautiful and luxurious, and the pump applicator is A+.
How it behaves during the day for me: After application, it takes a while to dry down to a demi-matte finish, which is fine for me. The coverage that it gives is nice if you have good/normal skin, it doesn’t crease, it doesn’t end up cakey, and your skin’s texture does show up through it, so it looks very, very natural.
I work in a warm environment, so after 3-5 hours of wearing it on its own (only moisturizer underneath) it does become a little shiny on my forehead and the bridge of my nose.
I feel like the downside of it is its scent, very rosy perfume. I noticed it only lingers for about one hour to two hours.
Once the foundation settles on your skin and dries down you can’t feel it. Very lightweight.
Now that I have this foundation I’m completely ignoring my MAC waterweight foundation and Clinique 2 in 1.
Completely sold, well done Burberry!

Very mediocre foundation, especially for a luxury makeup. I prefer drugstore alternatives, like Bourjois HM or Revlon Nearly Naked.
It has a medium coverage, blends nicely. I could do without the powdery/floral fragrance. There is no “wow” effect that could justify the price. Burberry base product do get a lot of love but none of them impressed me so far.
The shade 11 is beautiful. I’m NC5/10, yellow undertones, and though 11 is not very yellow, it’s not pink/beige either, which I appreciate.

I cannot handle the chemical smell of this foundation. If you do not like the smell and the ‘taste’ of burberry’s lipstick, you need to avoid this foundation. Lovely packaging though.

Fabulous foundation
Pros:
-lightweight sheer/ medium coverage
-no smell
– do not oxidise on me ( most of the high brand foundation oxidise on me )
– do not leave my face cakey nor oily in the end of the day
– do not accentuate my patches around the nose
– has a natural and dewy finish
– good for very dry skin
Cons :
– will not cover your pimples and sunspots are still visible after the application
I will not recommend it to people who are looking for a good coverage foundation , it is more for someone who has already a good skin condition and wants a light coverage .

For reference I have dry NC25 skin with neutral, slightly peachy undertones. I was a bit worried that 20 Ochre would be too pink based on dried swatches but it’s actually a perfect match.
The finish is perfectly dewy and provides a lit-from-within glow without appearing oily or shiny. I no longer bother with lumanisers for day looks now, and need so much less highlighter product if I’m strobing for a more dramatic night look. I adore the dewy finish and silky texture so much it seems a shame to set it with powder, so sometimes I don’t but it reduces wear time. A finely milled translucent powder like Chanel, Dior or Laura Mercier will set it but retain the finish.
The coverage is medium and although it can be sheered out, it’s difficult to build up too much. I use two pumps and apply with either a buffing brush or beauty blender for perfect medium coverage with the most ease. When I want lighter coverage I use fingers or a flat foundation brush and use less product. None of these application methods have ever resulted in streaks or uneven coverage, which is pretty amazing for a liquid foundation to be so easy to use.
This foundation has fast become HG for me due to the fact it doesn’t accentuate pores nor does it cling to dry patches, even after 8 hours of wear. It’s super light and feels like you’re wearing nothing, and doesn’t transfer after its dried and set. Very easy to remove with a gentle cleanser. There is a very, very light scent that I had to strain to smell, but it’s there after pumping and quickly dissipates.
I’ve paired it with other base products and it doesn’t react poorly with any if them FYI: I often use YSL touche eclat concealer pen over the top, NARS creamy radiant concealer top or underneath, Laura Mercier primer, Laura Mercier Powder Foundation (underneath for Goss method – using it over Fresh Glow takes away from the foundations dewy finish), dior or chanel translucent powders to set. If I want more full coverage I apply a Missha BB cream underneath, let it dry and then stipple Fresh Glow over the top. I also use Bioderma sunscreen in the daytime but with any product that’s got a wet consistency, I recommend leaving it a few minutes to dry or setting it with powder, then layering Fresh Glow over the top rather than mixing it in. Whenever I have failed to wait or set, the consistency isn’t as beautiful. That said, I make sure I wait a few mins or set before using powder blushes and bronzers over the top, again I just feel that it is much easier to blend when dry.

I do not have oily skin yet this foundation made me look way too dewy/oily almost from the onset. I needed to blot several times during the day to try and control the excessive “dewiness”. It’s a no from me.
