This is the best foundation i tried up to this day, i love to try new foundations but i always go back to this amazing product. My skin is dry-combination.

Wow, I’m in love! This foundation is perfect for my normal/dry skin.
It was a struggle to find the right color. 1N too pale, 2N too dark. But 1.5N is a winner!
This foundation lasts all day, yet it’s not as heavy as the Nars I used to use. Provides a much more airbrushed look. (Yeah, I flatter myself.)
The only negative is the packaging. Yes, it’s in a nice glass bottle, and the pump works well. But there’s a lot of product left when the pump stops working. Depotting into a plastic container got me at least 5 additional uses, and there’s still product stuck in the bottle. Sigh. I guess it’s the price one must pay for beauty… and it’s worth every cent!

This is my new holy grail foundation! I have sensitive, acne-prone, combination oily, 33 years ols skin. I have never ever been able to wear any glowy foundations before, because it would end up being a greasy mess in a couple of hours, and would just slide around my face. This one on the other hand was the foundation I used for my best friend’s wedding!! For the wedding I used Dior primer and Clarins setting spray and just blotted with sensai blotting sheets in between (and set it with Dior loose powder), and I can say my face still looked pretty nice in the middle of the night!
This foundation also doesn’t cause breakouts (which happens quite often to me). It does not break down weirdly around my nose, doesnt settle into fine lines or highlight my pores. It looks really natural but you can also build it up if needed. On regular days I use this with a mattifying moisturizer underneath and a setting spray. I also set this always with translucent powder. I do blot a few times a day but the foundation stays in place and never feels or looks disgustingly oily, more like shiny in a good way, if you know what I mean.
Also, my mum of 66 years old loved this foundation on her skin which is dry/combination and has lines and pores of course. Hope this review helps someone to find their holy grail foundation as well 🙂

This is the first “radiant” foundation that I enjoy. The finish is gorgeous, yes it is radiant, but not shiny or oily. It just looks healthy and youthful, lit from within. I’m also very pleased that it has such a great SPF – 35 and it didn’t settle in fine lines or emphasize pores. It’s just a gorgeous foundation. I pair it with Tarte Colored Clay undereye corrector and I’m delighted with the result. Everyone’s skin is, of course, different but if you’ve been avoiding “radiant” foundations, as I was, give this a shot. Sephora will give you a sample.

We’re in Spring now and I don’t you if you’re like me, but in Spring I love to try new founations. Basically I love to start a rotation, just like for my wardrobe. Spring: new clothes, new fresh colours, new fresh fragrance, &… new, fresh, lighter foundation. Many brands have had their launches in the past few weeks, and here I go with my sampling – and purchasing! – of new bases.
As you may be aware by now, Dior has revamped their lines of foudation and basically now almost everything falls under the “Forever” line, with some diverse declinations. The other “different ” foundations are now Backstage and Capture. Air Flash still exist under the “Backstage” line, but as a matter of fact Star and Nude are gone,…. Forever! (pun intended :o)
This particular Forever Skin glow comes to replace the now *sadly* discontinued Diorskin Nude, that I personally adored because it imparted a lovely finish, glowy and not shiny but managed somehow to stay put for long hours besides having a proper coverage and was really fab.
This new Forever Glow has nothing in common with Forever, and little to nothing with Nude nor Star.
I tested this foundation a couple of times (thanks to the lovely Sephora rep that gave me a custom sample in my shade to try at home) but it doesn’t work for me, it’s too dewy and has basically no staying power. Why did they call it Forever? its stays put for such a short time!
I agree and like that the shade range thas has been extended, but I was underwhelmed by its coverage and poor performance; even with two layers it barely managed to cover my dark spots. Upon appliaction it has a strong smell of alchool. The finish is super dewy: if you are after this finish, you will like it. I like a little glow, but as I have combo skin dewy for me means greasy T-zone after a couple of hours. Definitely it must be set and powdered, as the finish is slighltly tacky.
I did not like it: it doesn’t dry, therefore if you do not set it with a powder it will come off on hands, clothes… really, the Nude was setting to a luminous but almost powdery finish… it was a dream. Why do they discontinue good formulas?
To me, this is a no. By the way, I tried the new Guerlain L’Essentiel, and that is a great one… super luminous, natural ingredients no silicones (can you believe it ?? No silicones!!) and stay put 16 hours…. will review soon.
